โ โ โ โ โ Situation @ a corner coffee shop. Dry style Chicken rendang is impressive. Mutton slight wet also very good. Yet to try beef rendang & asam ikan pedas. Cook is a friendly middle age chinese indon woman. Sound like a Teochew. Surprisingly can cook such super nice Malay dishes. Longtong @ 3.5 can share by 2 person. Curry is clear & no thick ccn. Remember to ask for chili. Beef Rendang is the best.

โ โ โ โ โ Chance upon this stall inside one of the coffeeshop in Jalan Besar selling nasi padang the last time I was here for the wanton noodle. Happen to pass by this area and decided to pop over for late lunch. Reached there closed to 3pm and noticed that there was not much dishes left. However, with the limited selection, managed to select 3 dishes. had their Sayur Lodeh, telur dadar and what looks like Ayam Panggang. Paid SGD$6.50 if i did not remember wrongly.
I did enjoyed the food, it was flavorful and delicious. However, the dishes were already cold, such a pity. i think the selection would be more if you come at a much earlier timing. Would probably come again at a much earlier timing the next time round.
