The soup was excellent, and the noodles packed a lot of punch and had a lot of ingredients.
Highly recommend this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Simply one of the best prawn noodles in SG. Default bowl at just $5, noodles are mixed with both chilli and ketchup sauce. The ketchup adds little tinge of sweetness into the noodles and it is superb. My love my dry noodles with shallot oil, pork lards and red chopped chillis.
Amazing colour to the entire dish and elevates the taste.
Stall is at front row facing the road.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The prawn noodles is so good, as I'm not a yellow noodles person, I tried the yellow noodles version and I'm in love with the yellow noodles version from this stall. The bowl of noodles is served with prawns peeled and halfed, nice size and textured. Slide pork is Lean and flavorful. Chilli in the noodles not too over powering, just the right amount of kick. And finally the soup to finished up with the noodles is light enough to on it's own. Thank you for serving one of the best prawn noodles in Singapore. ?️??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Price has increased to minimum $5. The queue was fairly long but the most disappointing fact was it wasn’t really worth queueing. The broth was thin and had very little prawn flavour. It’s probably of a school canteen standard

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Angela Parisi and I LOVE the prawn noodles here. So much so, we came consecutive days and each had 2 bowls of noodles! There’s always a line, but it’s worth the wait. The chef’s aunt was incredulous that we each had 2 bowls of noodles. Please order the dry version; the bowl of broth on the side is perfect balance to the chili sauce on the noodles. Lol The chef is gracious and this was one of the culinary highlights of our Singaporean girls trip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came all the way to Tekka Food Centre for a good bowl of prawn mee. I would usually go for their soup version as the soup is really flavour but today's weather tells me to get the dry version instead.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Given the recent fails about old school this and old school that, decided to come visit this old school that I usually avoid for the horrendous parking and bad seating. It could have been better. For a start at peak lunch, with a short queue, I can tell I will have to go round and round for a seat. Hot granddaughter no longer tend to the cooking but left it to some hired help. Yellow Noodles left at 1pm, but turned out no alkaline taste but mushy and over cooked. Too much noodles with too little sauce, pretty much no lard or very little shallot oil. How is this satisfying? 7 prawn finger size slices and some not so clean, bland, and zero veg. No more $3/$4 we understand but at $5 what are you serving? Even the tiny bowl of soup is diluted. A fail at best.
