J	Jade Quay on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They serve very good quality mee pok and the dried version Hae Mee with mixture of sauces that add extra Oomph with good umami to whet up a good satisfying breakfast at Tekka Food Centre. One of the earliest opening stall at 6ish in the morning.

You can ask for a bigger portion for $4. You can choose Thick yellow noodle, Kway Teow, vermicelli or a mixture of any of them. The Prawns are fresh and firm. Noodles cooked just right and not soggy. The broth is decent and not overly sweet like in some other stalls elsewhere. The stall owners are friendly and accommodating. Seems like most of their patrons prefers the dried version but they can give you broth to take away if you ask. A down to earth, honest Prawn noodle stall who do not take shortcuts, Thumbs up!

Price for a bowl of prawn noodle starts from SGD$3 onwards. I had the prawn noodle, which comes with sliced prawns and pork. Soup was alright. Nothing fancy but decent. The soup somehow lacks the body and there a hint of alkaline taste from the yellow noodle. Seems to be a popular choice for diners, noticed many people eating their prawn noodle while I was walking about the food centre. Apart from the no frills prawn noodle, they also offer pork ribs and pig intestine.

S	Suba Siva on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For $3 you get a good serving of noodles, 4 half-sliced prawns and some pieces of pork. I love the flavour. There was this plate of prawn mee that I tried in Serangoon Garden Food Centre, flavour wasn't strong and it was not at all value for money. So when I taste this plate of noodles, I feel there is definitely a lot to explore on the other side of Tekka food centre, the non-Indian food stalls. I took away 1 star because the prawns could be more since they are half-sliced or they could be slightly bigger.
