I went to use the remaining balance in my two EZ Link cards before I left Singapore. I asked the cashier if it was ok to use them first and paid cash if the balances were not enough. She said it was ok.
I bought 6-7 keychains and some snacks.
The cashier took a long time and frowned all the time complaining it was not possible to pay by two EZ Link cards. She kept asking me to use cash,
I didn't understand why she didn't use 1 EZ Link card to pay a few things and another card to pay the rest. She kept trying her way and kept asking me extra cash to "cover" the balance.
It took nearly 10 minutes.
The worst thing was she asked me to wait so that she could attend to other incoming customers. Only when I told her I was also in a hurry to catch a plane that she grudgingly stopped asking.
