8 Medi-Aesthetics Centre (Dhoby Ghaut)

I bought fave package from them ($50) for 2 facial sessions. The fine print stated that I can choose between nano pore deep cleansing or anti ageing. I did the nano pore deep cleansing for the first session however on the second session I was only allowed to do anti ageing which they did not explicitly state in the fine print. Hence as my face was sensitive and dry they recommended for me to top up an additional $68 ($72.76 after gst) just to switch over to nanopore deep cleansing which was more suited to my skin type. Needless to say I feel very scammed as the grand total amounted to $122.76 for just 2 facials which I can get at a much cheaper rate outside (normal facials without fave discounts elsewhere) AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST( or at least only opt for 1 session) ! They are not transparent at all. But to give them some credit they are v through in their extraction.

Dont deserve a star at all! On 14Feb22, I booked an appointment for a BlackheadRemover treatment which was advertised at $47. Upon reaching the store, a consultant immediately started upselling another promotion and advised that the BlackheadRemover treatment is not good for my face. As I was confused and overwhelmed, I decided to proceed with her suggestion, as she had also informed that the fee was only $240 due to the 50% promotion. However, I was shocked when I was requested to pay $3500 after the treatment, told the consultant i do not have enough money in my bank and can only pay $240 , she said i will have to pay more than that as it will not cover the package cost. Feeling scared and alone, she kept pestering and ask how much i can pay. i negotiated till 500 them she allowed me to leave. Cried out the store after as i was left with very little money to survive the month. That was my first time going to a facial place and never again i'm traumatized!

Came to 8medi aesthetics at dhoby ghaut as i wanted to try the back treatment for me and my boyfriend. Read on various websites with good reviews. Was served by Lynn who advised the right treatment to address my back skin concerns. My therapist was also very gentle and ensured that I was comfortable throughout the treatment. Would recommend

I did The scalp treatment, it was very good and the workers are very professional and skilled. I also did the facial treatment, my skin feels moist and hydrated after the treatment. Wendy was very friendly and give professional explanation when explaining to me my skin and scalp condition.

I've had plenty of facials experience in the past but this one is the best facial I had so far. I'm a sensitive skin type...The Beautician ensures my comfortable ness with everything she does and explains to me through what to expect. I trust her to make the right decision because she understands my skin condition. Well like others Most estheticians go through the motions but this Beautician customizes my treatment each time I see her. Keep up the good work Guys!

First time experience quite good. Wendy advised me about my back and gave a guide to my back. They treat customer well and tell me to go to place to buy shampoo that suits me to prevent my back from growing acne. The staff that help me do also tell me about what she will be doing next before doing.

I have been with 8-Medi for a year now. Their service quality is good and responsive in regards to changing of appointments. The beautician is very professional, hey analyze my skin and advise which treatment is good for me. I purchased a second package from them.

Great service from the staff! I haven’t been back for a year and when I stepped into the place, the staff surprisingly welcomed me by name. They were attentive and caring, and made suggestions on how I can improve my skin care routine. Great team present on site!
