★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 3.6 stars. There are many chicken rice stalls in fengshan hawker centre that has long queues. This is one of it. The price is cheap, but somehow I found the rice and chicken to be a little dry; needed the free pickles soup to compensate it. The braised egg is the smaller size kind. Nevertheless, with a tangle of dark soya sauce on top, it makes a decent value lunch. It's a pity I quit chilli already, otherwise please try the chilli sauce, its spiciness and consistency is just right.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chicken rice is such a staple in Singapore’s food scene. But what defines a good chicken rice? To me what comes foremost is the rice. And this stall gets it perfectly right. There are many good chicken rice establishments but I must say eating from this stall the first time, it is as good if not better. The chicken and rice is $3.50 in total and satisfying to the last grain.
