Takeaway a $5 pack of Fried Oysters and a $4 pack of hokkien mee from their store at Rivervale Plaza. The Chinese helper simply scooped the watery hokkien mee from the wok what seems to be the left over from a while ago. Didn't even try to pretend to fry a little to make it hot. As for the fried oyster? It was horrifying! i thought I've order a package of fried flour! And there were 4 tiny miserable oyster oh yes! Not even worth a star I would say. But am forced to give at least one inorder to share my experience ?

Review for the month of July 2021 1 Word = Disappointed. I see some customer order BLACK WHITE fried carrot cake version and hence i decided to go for it. To my disappointment, both version tasty is below average. The white version inside of the carrot cake seems like NOT 100% cook evenly. The taste of the carrot cake is soemthing like those Foodcourt style. Maybe some customer like it. But for me i strongly prefer the old school taste. Well it looks nice on the outside.... Price is affordable.

Ordered 2 packets of Prawn Mee $4 each. Quite tasty and reasonable portion too! No extra charge for the take-away package!

The presentation of the oyster omelette is quite promising, but the taste is a miss. Too much flour and they pre-fried the flour (with a bit of egg).

Very popular stall at 85 Market place selling carrot cake, oyster omelette, char kway teow and fried prawn noodles. Food taste is very average, price is reasonable and food is served very quickly despite the long queue during peak hours.

This remains a popular stall in an equally popular hawker centre, though allegations that quality varies by the mood of the chefs has some truth. . Generally above average and decent value for money, the plates borders the edge of smoky goodness, with soft moist texture to the carrot cake, and a good spread of egg over. . The black is better, as the dark sweet soy sauce with the egg creates a tasty sweet eggy savoury salty flavour. The white loses slightly as it lacks crispness, and the savoury sweet eggy salty flavour is mild.

As many of you had reviewed below, the food here is pretty much average in terms of taste, service and standards. I agree with the people who reviewed this place that the food taste varies due to the fact that there are many different Chefs manning the stall everyday. However, the prices are fair and remain very competitive as compared to other stalls. They are offer a wide variety of food that includes black and white carrot cake mix, ouster omelette, prawn noodles and etc. The waiting time is also is also fairly short during the peak hours. I think the main reason why it's fast is because there's at least 4 pweraon cooking at any one time. And it occupies 2 stall unit which is huge. Lastly, there's another stall with the same name located in kovan market food centre. I'm not sure whether it's the same but the one at kovan taste much better.
