β β β β β Was in East Village for lunch. Chanced upon this atas looking hipster shop selling Wadeh. Looks like those Indian deep fried vadai I like. I asked if these are served with green chillies. They said yes. Vadai Wadeh...same same but different spelling.
Minimum order is 5. I ordered 2 Prawn, 2 ikan bilis and a plain one to try.
The wadeh served here are hot but not piping hot. Crispy but not freshly crispy. The interior dough are more spongey than fluffy. Comes with those large green chillies. Can ask for extra chilli.
They also sell frozen wadeh by the packet.
The shop is Muslim owned and Halal vendor. Active on Facebook and Instagram.
