โ โ โ โ โ Noodles were tasty and well cooked, showing good skill. However, not sure why the chicken wings are so raved over, just taste like they spilled tumeric in the marinade, just distasteful for me. Disappointing and expensive wings (5 for $10) Will go back to Punggol Nasi Lemak for my chicken wing cravings.

โ โ โ โ โ I would actually rate it more as 3.5 stars if I could. Frankly, I was wowed by the portion and ingredients. The prawns used were fresh prawns, not the glassy frozen prawns. The hor fun had clams and lots of pork meat. It is rare for a Katong zichar stall to offer such ingredients and portions. The sting ray was HUGE. Unfortunately, the taste could have been better. Lacks a bit of wok-hei, and needs a bit more salt (but healthy folks may like that). The fried rice grains were a bit mushy. Maybe more quality control across all the chefs may help. Still not a bad place to eat at if you want fresh ingredients and large portions. Hence 4 stars for freshness, 3 stars for cooking = 3.5 stars (qed). If they could just up the taste more to have more wok hei, I will certainly give 4 stars.

The delicious Tomyam beehoon and mee goreng was a pleasant surprise

Just the smell of this iconic dish invoke the sensation of drooling and anticipation.
Generous portion of bbq stingray and sotong with fragrant fried rice make a great pairing.

โ โ โ โ โ The food here in Rong Guang is pretty yummylicious. Enjoyed the sambal stingray & signature wings most! The chilli crab is not bad but more homely type with heavier tomato base

- Egg fried rice: Strong wok hey but somewhat lacking in flavourโฆ
- Sambal Stingray: Highlight of the meal as it was a rather generous portion & meat was so tender. Must order!!
- Sambal sotong: Great if you like the non-chewy/ soft type of sotong, comes with pineapple & tomato & plenty of onion
- Kailan: Very oily but very tasty! Both the kailan and mushroom were really flavourful
