We tried their kway chap and it was fairly good. And they were rather generous with their ingredients as well.

I tried the Kway Chap and also ordered the duck liver and duck giblet. I am very impressed with the food. The duck liver and giblet are cooked just right and the sauce is excellent too. The queue is generally long for this stall. Be b prepared to wait.

Very flavourful kwap chap with generous amount of ingredients (especially the large intestines) at an affordable $4 (including kway). Everything were well braised in good quality soya sauce. Unfortunately, the kway itself was bland and not silky, tasted more like horfun/guotiao. Cash only.

I seem to have a different experience as other bloggers. I paid $6.50 for my kway chap. 2 slices of duck meat + wing tip bones beneath. No other meat or pork skin which Im fine. Queue is not long but becoz he works alone. Generally redhill has long queues becoz of crowd due to the excellent wet market/ dried goods sundries and the many many blocks of flats around. Crowded feel.

I am writing this review as I am eating their kway chap $4 portion for one person seems reasonable. Maybe I should say generous. You get a plate of porky goodies such as duck meat, tau pok, pig skin, intestine, pork belly and egg! The pig skin not hard. And really fatty. The pork belly meat could have cooked for a little longer for tenderness. The duck meat, firm. And there’s no weird porky smell on the intestine. They have two types of chili, the kway chap chili and the vinegar red chili. You cannot go wrong with any of these condiment. For ‘extra’ flavor, pour in some of the ‘lor’ or dark soya sauce gravy into your kway. And surprisingly they added bits of deep fried pork oil in the soup!! Great!
