This stall sold at $1.30 per piece but the stall a few steps away sold at $1.40 per piece. When we first went there, both had long queues, but we decided to try this stall and were not disappointed. Due to the long queue we had to wait for a while but it was not a very long wait. The chicken wings were yummy and since it was slightly cheaper than the stall next to it, it was worth going back again.

They specialized in barbecued chicken wings that are too good to resist. The wings $1.30each, are grilled to an amber hue with sheen. The skin is grilled till paper crisp and of a taut texture. It has smoky sweet flavors with a gingery undertone. Under the skin is a pack of moist and succulent meat. Each bite is meet with savory juices oozing out. The meat is not overly umami and is easy to enjoy the neat clean flavors of the meat. The chilli sauce adds a saline, spicy and gingery flavor to the sweet wings. The zest from the lime juice also helps to whet your appetite for more wings with its subtle tang.
I	Isabelle Tay on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tender and crispy chicken wings at affordable price of $1.30 each! Visited on a sat night and there was a queue, but decided to give it a try and turns out great! I liked the sour chilli that helps get rid of the greasiness of the chicken, but its good without it either. Stall probably managed by son and elderly mum, but the mum is very friendly and respectful despite the busy crowd. Chicken wing is on a smaller side though but overall still satisfying for me! Will go back again :)

The chili sauce goes well with them. However, it could be better if lime is given. There is no minimum order for the chicken wings and price is reasonable. They have won the People's Choice in 2015 and the Singapore Best Foods.

Head over to ah Hwee BBQ Chicken Wings just beside the famed song kee oyster omelette! Their chicken wing skin is really crispy and flavourful. Hot juice burst out of the chicken wings when you bite into them. But please take note to have it right here right there after ordering or you might not be able to experience the crispness if you dabao back home. The only thing that I believe can be further improved will be the chilli sauce.. Not spicy enough and doesn't really pack a punch. The best bbq chicken wing chilli title still belongs to chong pang huat in my opinion. Do come and try it out yourself!
L	Leon Kwang on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wings are pretty small by the "usual standards" and perhaps why they are $1.30 compared to $1.50 elsewhere? But the taste is lacking, and the small wings made them drier from the BBQ (can't lock in the natural moisture). Just about competent but I'm not a huge fan.
