The mee pok was pretty good I must say. Noodles were not soggy and the seasoning was pretty good. Ordered the $3 portion. There was also a short Q at 930am.

The noodles is quite okay - cooked just right. The sauce is so so and the ingredients is quite common without any special flavour.

One of the nice and affordable Teo Chew Noodle. The flavouring is just right with the fragrance of pork lard. There’s really a lot of ingredients for a $3 dish! Don’t think you will find similar quality serving in a hawker for this price.

What can I say? Good old school noodle soup. The beauty is in the soup base and the home made bits of pork lard. The fish cake and fish balls are commercial product but the soup is made of pork bones boiled fresh each day for 2-3 hours before the first bowl is served.

No, it's not wonton mee - if that's what you're thinking. But it's no wonder you thought that way, coz most would too. Technically, this is fishball noodles with char siew. But it's a little hard for me to aptly describe how this complex rendition tastes. Springy noodles dressed with a really aromatic chilli paste that's just mildly spicy, with a small dollop of not overly sour ketchup plus a tinge of sweetness, coupled with really well-fried crispy pork lard and fried minced garlic - this is a perfect marrying of flavours that really makes it a comfort food to me. And having this grub on a rainy morning feels like putting a warm blanket over me in bed. What a soothing way to start the day! The gluttonous side of me kept tempting me to try the soup version of this noodle dish as the soup looks deliciously promising! And so, I made a second trip down to try out the soup version when dining-in is finally allowed. I've to say that the soup version was as good as I thought it would be! Very well-cooked springy noodles that's really enjoyable to bite into with a soup base that's so flavourful yet mild on the palate. The soup warmly cuddled my stomach as it made its way down in every sip. Comfort food, as I say. This is now officially one of my breakfast comfort food stops. Will be back for more! ?

Food 3/5 Price 3/5 Service 3/5 Overall 3/5 Noodles were average. Texture and taste of the mee kia is average. Nothing out of the ordinary. Price is also average. Small bowl $3, large bowl $4. Take away +20¢, add noodles +50¢, add ingredients +$1. Service was mediocre. Slightly rude at the start but gradually became friendlier. Wouldn't make an effort to come here in the future. Will only return if I'm around this area in the future

Finally got the chance to try Ah Tee koko mee at Berseh Kopitiam after watching a youtube video, with the stall sharing the same space with the famous Sungei Road Laksa. For $4.50, the portion is really worth it, down to the cent. Loads of fish cake, charsiew, at least 4 fishballs & 1 heegiao. For taste department, I think the difference from others is in the chilli mix. Overall, I enjoyed the meal although i thought there's a bit lack of punch in taste. But still, a good bowl of noodles prepared by the super friendly owner uncle :) Now I wonder how it tasted like during those kok kok days! Definitely coming back when I'm passing by.

Paid $4.50 for a bowl of mixed ingredients mee. The overall taste was acceptable. The fish balls and fish cakes were average. However, the mee was lumpy and sticked together. The minced pork was very little and hard. The soup was salty, with strong anchovies taste.
