★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ah Xiao Braised Duck is popular with long queue during lunch time.
For a price if $3.50, you can have a plate of braised duck rice, as in the photo. You can order the inards together with it for a slightly higher price.
The default serving has a generous amount of duck meat. The duck meat is delicious.

The reason is I did not even order.
Why? I am there 1015, 2nd in queue. Standing there for 6mins, the young man is not interested to take my order.
He is very interested to record his online order.
Very well. Let's move on to more stalls that are ready and more willingly to engage a more balance with physical and online clients.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The highlight has definitely got to be the ridiculously tender duck meat with just the right amount of fat. Top braising skills. But I’m not sure if I’ll deliberately go back to eat it again as there’s nothing extraordinary about the rice and selection of sides are limited. The braised egg in the picture was an add-on. Didn’t have to wait long (less than 10 mins) for the food during weekday lunch.

However the braised pork, duck wing and duck gizzard is superb and a must order!
Do note that there are limited duck wings daily and it tends to be sold out before the lunch crowd.
Sadly there is no yam rice available, only white rice.
There are 2 chillies available, both are pretty good however i personally prefer the darker coloured chilli as it packs more flavour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The meat was very tender and the sauce very flavorful; in fact I think I've never had duck meat that's as tender as this before and it pairs very well with the sauce. Love the tau pok too. Definitely one of the best braised duck I know in SG.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly and good service. Duck is tender and with the fragrant and flavourful sauce, it’s definitely a good choice ! The braised wings are surprisingly very tasty as well with the sauce fully seasoned into the meat !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely teochew style braised duck rice. Braising liquid is milder than others but still savoury enough to enjoy with rice. Duck is tender without being gamey, and the skin is nice and fatty. Their sides like liver, pig skin, and duck wings are great too if you know how to enjoy it. The chilli is refreshingly sour and not overly spicy; cuts through the meats really well! Come here for a great plate of teochew braised duck!
