First time customers here with friends tonight. Great tom yum talay, pad woon sen, and stuffed chicken wings. The only regret was some dishes were not available to try. Will be back to try the other dishes. Attentive staff and clean environment. ??

Waitress was friendly and polite! ? Their pad see ew smelled heavenly, and the noodles had that delicious wok hey taste too! ? (Price was abit expensive for the portion of pad see ew I ordered though, might have seemed small due to my large appetite) Their omelette was tasty, fresh and oily (I liked it oily) ?

Almost a 0 star if not for the nice server’s attitude. Food quality: really bad. The honey chicken was dry, no aromatics, the egg was badly fried and the rice was clumpy. We waited very long for our food to be served despite there being no one in the restaurant (2+PM) and the food served was cold. Lemongrass drink…tasted like I was drinking sugar water with mopiko. Portion: absolutely pathetic. For $9.90++ we had a bowlful of white rice, a badly fried egg and less than 2 scoop full of chicken. Picture as shown was after I had 1 piece of meat. I won’t pay $4 for this much less $9.90++. The soups were god awful too. Tom yam was cold, barely any ingredients or spice, the fish maw was the only dish that was hot but the soup tasted weird and the few pieces of maw was not fresh. We paid an extra $3 for each bowl and it was absolutely HORRID. If not for the fact that we were starving and there really wasn’t enough ingredients to go with rice I’d have left the soup. Even the red ruby which was the one nice thing they had was very small and full of ice. I spent $33.33 on this ridiculous lunch, and it’s hands down the worst meal I’ve paid for in terms of value and quality. Service attitude was good, the place was very clean but speed was really bad and the food was just…horrendous. If you can’t do a set meal then don’t do a set meal. This was a truly bad lunch and I’d wholeheartedly NEVER recommend this. PS: I’m very interested to know how and why they’ve got such good reviews when my meal today was clearly the opposite end of the spectrum. Makes you wonder, doesn’t it?

The food was really great. Tasty, authentic and the service was very attentive. They deserve to be proud of their food and it is reasonably priced. It is the "cleaner" Thai food (and not greasy/stir fried) and there was less oil. What you would get in the fancy malls in Bangkok (e.g. Emquartier, Iconsiam). Would come again.

4.8 star out of 140 review are too good to be true? Yes it cannot be true. More then half the reviewer only has less then 10 review and most of them has only 1 to 3review. The portion of food and ingredients are huge. But lack of taste or quality. Price is cheap given the quantity / portions. Was service by the one and only waiter, her service is excellent. Would have given a 3 star overall. But feels cheated hence 1 star.

Quiet cosy place. Air con is blasting cold but I guess it’s building controlled. I like the taste of the Thai food here but the Thai-ness has definitely been dialled down to suit local flavours. The food is presented well and mostly fresh and nice. Especially the moo bing. So sweet like bak kwa kinda tasty. The fried egg with pork mince? is not really the Thai style my Thai classmate made for us back in UK ?? . It’s airy ? and oily but not as airy. Drinks are sweet and normal taste. Basil pad krapow taste is appetising but not that strong or spicy ? . However even though I personally feel it’s not as authentic thai the general taste was still good because my wife ate the meal was so full and wanted to have a good sleep ? ? ? ? The pineapple rice is actually quite tasty too even though it’s not so Thai like the Thai on BKK. We also wallop the whole smoke duck curry that was kinda sweet but also fragrant with all the wonderful spices mixed inside. Quite value because we ordered so much! ? Overall still a tasty and pleasant experience. ?

Tucked away in a corner of Citygate, ahan Thai features simple and calming decor. Service was friendly and efficient, with plain water on offer. Food ranged from good to very good, with spiciness toned down for local palates. Portions are large, so don't over order. Standouts were the pork collar, duck red curry and grilled pork skewers.

We were there by chance for dinner two days ago and were delighted with the food and services from ahan Thai. Moo ping was very amazing with purple sticky rice and sauce while the Suki Glass Noodle was just delicious and the rest of our dishes were very good too. The female service staff was friendly and nice in serving us. Highly recommend for authentic Thai food.
