Got a call from AIA agent, told me that they proposed to meet me and pass a gym gear bag?. After meeting they promised me that they would arrange delivery?. But not sure AIA doesn't obey their PROMISE, or AIA could not remember their promises, it is AIA scam?

What? Taking a balloon back from a toddler just because her parent is not a good prospect? What despicable behaviour. I would definitely avoid doing business with AIA.

I would give a big fat Zero. Talking to customer service is like talking to bots. No matter if the call is urgent and from overseas Each time I have to go through the SOP screening eventhough its a follow up call to the agent that handled my matter minutes ago. Worse still being put on hold for 9 over mins each call. Had my documents delivered via DHL express on 9/5/22 with proof of delivery. Yet was told they NEVER received anything from my side thus cannot process my payment. Not only am Ihighly agitated and stressed, my phone bill has also increased!

I was contacted by one of their agents who has since left the company. I acknowledge tt part of my losses was due to my own lack of clarity in thinking. At the same time, i just want to warn everyone to be conscious of what you’re signing up for. The agent at that time recommended me some products and after my initial rejection there was silence until one day she contacted me again regarding the same policy. She even came to meet me at my office and her supervisor was with her. The agent was quiet but her supervisor was really pushy and i felt really uncomfortable but also compelled to sign up for the policy. To this day, i’m still quite angry at her and myself. Angry at her because I feel like she just wanted to meet her sales quota and wouldn’t stop at giving poor advice. Angry at myself cz It’s quite foolish when i think about it now but i just wanted them to get off my back. I learnt later that it was smtg i shldnt hv signed up for and might be better to just let the policy lapse. Just warning everyone out there tt this happens all the time to even the smartest of pple, do your due diligence. Ive contracted with many agents before under different companies, just a shame though that AIA was the one where i didn’t hv a good experience with.

Been with AIA for so long but my agents that I have in the past just either quit the company or totally did not keep in touch with me. The current agent that I am transferred to is hardly responsive. My mum has the old Health Insurance HSG C plan which is no longer sold in market... now I also don't know is it safe to upgrade to B plan with a rider because of medical underwritings. Cannot even find the softcopy of her old policy on MY AIA APP. Called the customer service hotline and the associate just give a brief customary response. I am so tired of AIA customer service.

To AIA, I am writing in as an extremely dissatisfied customer pertaining to the services of an AIA agent currently overseeing my policies with the company. The said agent is Teo Qian Hui Amanda (Agent Code: 61920) Having taken over my portfolio from my previous agent, she arranged a meeting with me to formally introduce herself. However, our meeting transitioned into a sales appointment, where I had to endure her aggressive nature in pushing me financial products which I do not see a need for. I did at the end though, succumbed to her high pressure sales pitch for 2 months and made a decision to enter into a term plan on 27 June 2022. It was at this point when she then claimed that her manager insisted that we pay the premium on an annual basis after agreeing to proceed my plan on a monthly basis as their team is facing a spike in cases where clients lapse on their monthly deductions even though my preferred manner in transacting this policy purchase was on a monthly basis. This is certainly not how it works and I definitely do not appreciate how I am insinuated as an individual who has a tendency to default on my monthly premiums. The next red flag I experienced was how she persuaded me to send a picture of the front and back of my wife’s credit card through WhatsApp to facilitate the payment. I do believe that an established financial institution like AIA will not condone such loose acts. The image of a secure and safe company adhering to basic customer etiquette and safety has been severely tarnished. Last but not least, she even requested that should anyone from AIA contact me asking how we met, let them know it was through a roadshow at Ang Mo Kio. I do not make sense of such a proposal but it certainly seems to me like it was anything but proper. As a long time customer of AIA, I am appalled by the standards of such an agent I’m entrusted to. The image of an established Financial Consultant which you have painstakingly built up has been utterly destroyed, easily offering us a reminder of the much scrutinised high pressure insurance salespeople that were once thronging the industry. I urge that appropriate actions be taken against Amanda and her manager as well . I look forward to your update on this matter. Thank you.

!!! WARNING !!! READ BEFORE PURCHASING FROM AIA Poor experience while making claims for AIA Singapore despite having written and signed documentation of medical condition that resulted in a missed flight. AIA makes consumer jumps through unnecessary hoops to get claims and provide little resolution for the next steps and the additional documentation required - only through probing their staff then they tell us what we need. Very unprofessional and additional hassle expected in delaying the process. Unlike ChangiAssure, ChangiAssure was more helpful in the process, assisted the claiming process quickly, and told us exactly what to do. Do not purchase from AIA. Terrible experience.
