Najib is a Scammer and so is this money exchange. Exchange On 22 Jan 2019, 1,480,000 vietnamese dong to malaysia ringgit and he gave me 200 ringgit ( around $66 sgd) instead of $80 plus ) Long story short ? DONT EXCHANGE WITH THIS SCAMMER !!!!

Really good rates and very friendly staff! Another plus point is that unlike Ahnaaf Money Changer at B1 which only allows to change over S$50 coupled with their worse rates, they allow you to change any ammount into your desired currency. Was able to change a little as $18 to get a full set of Indonesian Rupiah set for my collection. Highly recommend to change here especially if you are keen in buying Malaysian Ringgit. Very quiet and almost no queue due to its location being at the 3rd floor. Only downside is that it is run by Muslims so you won't be able to change there every Friday in the afternoon. Then again, that is true for many other money exchanger so, it isn't a big deal. The only real, real, downside, they only sell a small range of currencies, mostly Southeast Asian currencies. So, if you need Riyals, Rials, Dirhams or Dinars or even Rands, I am sorry, but you may not get them here. Although, you can try to check if they have some on hand. They once sold me some Polish Zloty and Israeli New Shekels and for a period of time, they sold old Australian Dollars for collectors at reasonable prices. For those who are interested, these are the currencies that they hold with guarantee. 1) United States Dollar 2) Canadian Dollar 3) Great British Pound Sterling 4) Euro 5) Swiss Franc 6) Australian Dollar 7) New Zealand Dollar 8) Malaysian Ringgit 9) Indonesian Rupiah 10) Thai Baht 11) Philippine Peso 12) Indian Rupee 13) New Taiwan Dollar 14) Hong Kong Dollar 15) Japanese Yen 16) Chinese Yuan

Hi fellow Sembawang peeps. I made a boo-boo. I went to B1, wanted to change from SGD to JP Yen, and they offered 12.48. Went up to 3rd floor to Al-Najib, and theirs was 12.43. Intuitively it seemed like 12.48 is a better deal, so I asked them if they could match the price. He gave me a confused face, looked at his colleague who just nodded. I changed 2k SGD, and only after walking away and looking at the receipt 161k x 12.48 = $2009.28 did I realize that with a 12.43 rate, I would have saved $8. In the grand scheme, it is a loss of 0.4%, which is not much. But I feel as a business, they should let the customer know when they are getting a poorer rate compared to their current rate. Anyway my loss is your gain, please learn from my experience!

Went to change Thai baht on Wed and was given bad rate compared to other shops. Lost $70 as a result. Don't go. A cheat. I have receipts to prove. This is the one at ground level at Lucky Plaza entrance. Totally unacceptable.
