I have been seeing my hairline slowing moving backwards in the mirror. So on a trip to Singapore, a friend reccommend me to contact Donald Ng at Alaxis Aesthetics which I did. I booked a consultation and meet with Donald who infomed me of my options. I went for the FUE Hair Transplant method and havebook a appointment for my next visit in June 2018.

Went to Dr Ng for fat grafting yesterday, I'm truly amazed by work! He's truly skilful and didn't fail me at all. I've no bruises right after the procedure and this morning, I woke up with all the marks gone from my face! The clinic's staffs are friendly and helpful, especially Sandy. You need not go Korea for such procedure, as the skill is already here in his clinic! Thumps up Dr Ng! ??

I did FUE hair transplant on Dec 2017. It has been 1+ year after my hair transplant but i still see no results. The area where hair were planted saw a survival rate of 20% but my original hair fell off and never grew back. Net off, there is no additional growth in the transplanted area. I did 2000 graft for 10,000SGD. I went back regularly for review throughout the period but the only advice i get from dr Donald is to wait. He told me hair can grow up to 1.5year after operation. My last review with him, it was clear that this operation was a failure. I am a very health conscious individual who exercise regularly, watch my diet carefully and take my vitamins so that rules out the health explanation that I couldn’t keep the hair. Area where hair was not transplant had the same density as before so it rules out the explanation that my original hair was going to fall off anyway. So the only explanation left is the doctor’s practice. He offered to redo the operation for half the price which i turned down. If the doctor failed in this treatment the first time what makes one think that it will succeed the second time. Besides that, the downtime is extremely long, the procedure is very painful and you will be bald for the first 6 months. The first 2 weeks, your face will swollen, the first month your scalp will be bloody and sore. I asked for discount on the non invasive procedure but was turned down by him. I see some hair transplant reviews were posted even before they went for the surgery which makes me wonder why will someone write review before seeing the results. Perhaps Dr Donald is good in other procedure but not for my hair transplant experience.

Horrific experience. I don’t like to post online negatively but I feel obligated to ensure my experience is shared to those who may be interested to visit. I have been to aesthetic clinics before and I definitely wouldn’t recommend this one to anyone. I was referred to this clinic by my facial salon due to suffering from skinburnt from micro needling. Most part of the face has healed but there’s shading left on the forehead. On the first visit, not sure if it’s because I was referred, Dr Donald showed absolute reluctance to even take a closer look at the area. At first, he denied seeing any shading and kept asking what I expected of him to do. It isnt a obvious patch but definitely visible which was why the salon referred me. He later took a closer look and agree that he could see some shades. He prescribed a cream and emphasised how expensive the cream is and the salon might not be happy when they see the bill. I’m not sure the intent behind emphasising that. Later, I found out the cream cost roughly 250? Not the main point here, but his comment is totally uncalled for. The price of the cream is not important as long as it does the job. I’m not trying to scam the salon and definitely did not request for them to refer me to a doctor. They did so after acknowledging the shades are visible. They are fully aware through the course of the whole incident and the recovery process. The clinic then suggested that I return for a follow up appointment after 2 weeks which I did. During the visit, Dr Donald looked at me and said, so, what can I do for you. I was puzzled and said I supposed it’s a follow up treatment and my opinion is that the cream has yet to produce much results. My response then nudged him to take a look at my records. After reading, he immediately looked up and said, much lighter then the last time. I told him I had foundation on as I came from work but showed him a picture of my bare face I took in the morning. He requested for the makeup to be removed and after i did so, he again; said it’s lighter and asked repeatedly what I need him to do. To be honest, I’m not a doctor, I don’t know what he can do for me. I’m not sure of the available treatments out there for such shading. I just want to know it will recover and needed that assurance if it doesn’t, what other treatments might treat this which I obviously got none. At this point, I gave up. Before concluding the shading has lightened, he has no reference since they didn’t even bother to take any pictures on the first visit. I used the cream for 2 weeks diligently and monitored by taking pictures everyday. Slight improvement indeed but in general, it’s still visible. I would be totally fine he showed more interest in examining and taking this consult seriously. And I would be fine if he shared that the cream takes time and to continue to use it. But instead, he patronised me with a belittling attitude and again said, the cream we gave you isn’t cheap. My experiences showed me how unprofessional and patronising they can be when the patient isn’t the one footing the bill. A total waste of my time.

Dr Donald has been an excellent doctor for all the time I’ve known him. For all these years, after visiting his clinic, I’ve not worry about looks, and hair. He’s made it so simple for me. And his laser’s really updated. Never once has he tried to hard sell and his nurses are very much competent themselves. A trusted and reliable clinic that doesn’t overdo, oversell, and not charge exorbitant prices which I know of. In fact he could’ve charged me more on many occasions but he did not, for that I can’t thank him enough. ? Chance upon this web page today, kudos to you for all you’re doing. Wishing you best 0f the best!

Dr Donald Ng & his staff are just amazingly professional & wonderful people! Just had my hair transplant did today and I have to say they were really very kind to me. They did a 100% perfect job, exactly the way we discussed during our 2 consultations and not only that, they also cared for me when I told them I had difficulties lying down in the same position for long hours. They constantly gave me the breaks so that I could feel comfortable, provided lunch and constantly made sure I was feeling good. I will definitely recommend Dr Donald Ng to my friends if they ever needed a hair transplant! Thank you Dr Donald & team! Really appreciate it <3
