Amazing Chambers Singapura - 73 Sultan Gate

Fun and unique in that there's an effort to incorporate local history and cultural context in the games' storylines and props used. More fitting perhaps is that the games were held in a building that was passed down for several generations. Puzzles were good and made for good fun, props were in good condition as well. Two-games-for-price-of-one definitely worth it. Do remember to use the toilet before the games as there is temporarily none in the premise itself.

We played Sang Nila Utama and The Crown & Mysterious Sisters Islands. Very very fun, learn a lot about Singapore history, easier to remember than going to the museum because we had to use our brains and think. We want to play more games soon. The people working here was very nice and helpful, even speaking in Chinese when we did not understand what was happening. Thank you very much! We will of course come again to play the other games. Very sad the escape room only have 5 games, they need more rooms so we can play more!

A really bad experience. My wife and I had initially booked two back to back Escape Rooms using the promo 2 for 1. We were meant to be joined by two other people. However due to some commitments they could only join the second game. So I called, spoke to someone there and they mentioned that this would arrangement would be okay. We arrived late, fair enough. We were happy to just start the first Escape Room. And we did tell them that the others would be joining in the second game. They were happy to pay the full price. However they said it is not allowed to have anyone else join in the second game (again happy to pay full amount). Caveat the Terms and Conditions do not state that other players cannot join in the second game. They rather turn us away altogether which doesn’t make business sense. And to top it all off the lady was rude to both my wife and I which left a bad taste in my mouth. Do not recommend this place.

BEST ESCAPE ROOM EXPERIENCE EVER! Amazing Chambers Singapura is very educational, it’s like a fun museum if I can put it this way. They explained that they’re part of the Malay heritage centre and gave us a brief history of this place which already exceeded our expectations from minute 1! If all historic museums in the world were like this, it’d make visiting every single country a bucket list. SO WORTH IT, I cannot stop telling this to all my friends. We were a group of 7 and the staffs were as equally excited for us as we were and that alone made the experience 10x better!!!

We wanted to go out and do something out of our comfort zone. We went to Amazing Chambers and left feeling like real detectives. Thank you Amazing Chambers for the wonderful experience! We will definitely come back for more.

-1000/10 Had to wait 1.5 hour for the staff to arrive, just to have our game cancelled. We were excited to celebrate new year's eve with Amazing Chambers after reading all the good reviews ... however very disappointed that we had to end 2021 with such a bad experience.

I felt like I didn't experience history nor escaped from anywhere. Would not recommend. I dropped Amazing Chambers a message on Facebook, but after 4 days received no reply. Nonetheless, I came down with my wife one Friday evening to explore the place. The walk to the place is quite magical as from bugis. Google let's you walk past the mosque in the area and pass the malay cultural heritage site, into the escape room Palace of Amazing Chambers. (see photo) We were greeted by an amazing staff. She made the experience and introduction extremely pleasant! She explained the rooms and the Manor and made us feel really at ease. There was some fixing that was going on. And we had to wait 10 min before the game started. But the waiting area was nice. However the escape room on the other hand was not the best. The story and puzzles had no link with one another. We were asked to search for a missing person but in the end got told his story instead. The story is not the easiest to follow. And held no significance to the game till the end. We had one puzzle which one staff told us it was spoilt and another who told us it was a red herring. Which left a very sour taste at the end. If it was spoilt, it is understandable... If it was a red herring, then the puzzles are needlessly complicated and distracting. Felt almost like a copp out with the staff saying that we were not smart enough. I think there was a lot of opportunity with such a lovely location. However execution is lacking. I love the place and most* of the staff. But the experience does not warrent 32 dollars a pax. Would not recommend.

They have very good background stories related to Singapore and its history. Creative concept unlike other places, where its just about normal riddles and puzzles. This is a place where we would definitely recommend to go to. In fact, the history to this location is more than just a building as there is an in depth background of how this building came about back in the early days of Singapore. On top of its rich background location, having this Escape Room with historical/folklore stories gives this location a 2 in 1 effect, especially in knowledge and fun. Not the 1st time here, and will guarantee that it will not be the last time here either.. We used to frequent here for other reasons before the building was used for a different purpose ??. Nway, we were here with our friends trying out various challenges available. With those challenges, one challenge stood out more compared to the rest. 'Radin Mas' name came out more than the rest. It may be because of the history and stories that we grew up with.. Or maybe even because the challenge was very much interesting compared to the others. All in all, we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. Recommended to many others! Cheers!!
