★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Briyani rice is a little spicy. Mutton is tough, don't try if you got weak tooth, there are no dentists around here. Try the chicken install.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered via Deliveroo, they accepted the order then cancelled after half an hour meaning most other places were closed or about to close.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a simple and decent food center near Braddell and infront of SPH news center office. Lots of varieties of Indian and Malaysian food options are available. Dosa, idly, chapati, parota (prata)....and many. Please refer the picture for full menu and their price. The environment is not so adorable but it is neat and clean. Moreover the cost is reasonable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the worse food I have ever ate in many years. The fried rice is terrible, over cooked burned and tasteless. The other food also same even worse! End up not eating! Will never come back there ever again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Another legit restaurant serving mamak food, hidden among the HDB blocks in Braddell. Ordered masala chicken briyani and mee goreng mamak.
Briyani was served with a generous portion of chicken although it was a tad spicy. Mee goreng had that “wok hei” that tasted equally good.
Service was swift and staffs are very friendly too. Certainly one of the few recommended mamak places in this neighbourhood.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's my neighbourhood coffeeshop (Southern) Indian Muslim stall and the convenience is terrific. My morning prata (kosong or with eggs) comes with dhal (lentils) instead of the usual curry and suits my taste. Sure, in 2022, prices have all climbed so inflation aside, it was a reasonable way to get my morning fix. At brunch and the afternoons, the briyani is fine, and my usual combination is with the mutton (small diced bits with some fat, and you can say 'no bones' if you like), cabbage and fried gourd, and a curry egg. Indian 'curry' is simply a variety of spice sauces, some tomato based, but usually we're more familiar with the turmeric and curry leaf ones. I like the dhal because it has vegetables and usually less salty. The cooks here make the difference, as it's an employee run stall. If I'm physically there, I order according to what I see. There's vaday (fried spiced doughnuts) and banana ball (friend ball of dough with bananas mixed in), and these are quite fault free. The cooks do reheat all their friend chicken before serving which is great. I'm glad they're here as it's just a stone's throw from home and not anything that would be far from what you'd expect among local southern Indian stalls. One more thing: the cooks work damn hard, usually just two of them. So it's good if folks are a bit understanding.
