Careful of this scrap yard mechanic. Extremely dishonest. Would try to convince your original parts is not functioning well to have it change to cheaper parts because he wants your authentic Saab. He would not return your original parts claiming its one to one exchange. Also more expensive than other mechanics. Gas stations sell STP Fuel Injection cleaner for SGD8.90/- he sells it for SGD 28/- + another 7% GST. File complained to IRAS too for cheating on GST.

recommended by a spare parts shop at TohGuan Road. upon diagnosing charge repair cost with parts at $400 plus and takes 1 day for the job. i brought it to another workshop at toh guan enterprise hub..they told me to change the spare parts only and charge me $45 for Labour and parts at cost purchased from the authorised dealer. Not very pro..not recommended at all.

Dying breed of old school workshop. I have been with him for over 8 years. He has maintained my Audi A4, Jaguar and currently Mercedez E200. Very reasonable price. Good workmanship. Most importantly not fraudulent!!

TLDR version: Paid a premium, received horrible work, was given a 'warranty' period, but obviously never fulfilled. Would not recommend anyone to ever go there. I was referred to Ang by another mechanic to fix my convertible roof. Ang diagnosed it as a hydraulic issue and told me around $300-400 would fix it. He gave me a bill of $500 and said 3 months of warranty. He gave me a story of how he replaced all the piping and why it cost more than quoted. I was obviously disappointed and started distrusting him, especially when he started to raise his voice when I stated my displeasure at the price. I let it go as the job seemed to have done. 2 and a half months later the same issue propped up, and I ask Ang if it is still in warranty he says no. After arguing he relents and says if it's not a hydraulic issue he is going to charge me. Of course, I didnt trust him and took it to another mechanic to check. The other mechanic tells me that Ang had changed just the outer seals and it was never something that would have held up in the long run. This makes me believe that the workshop purposely wanted the roof to fail after the 3 month warranty. I consider myself lucky that I managed to find another mechanic. After reading other reviews here, the approach seems to be similiar where any repair costs around $400/500 and workmanship is poor.
