A old library but very modern and well maintained. Many people come here to study for their exam. Parents like to bring their kids here as there are many good books and corner for young children.

Good library with plenty seats and table for you to study/work at. Don't really read so not sure about the selection of books ?

A public library for all to access with no charges. Located in Ang Mo Kio Central. Some distant from Ang Mo Kio MRT station and the bus interchange. The positive side is there is a huge public car park beside it. Very convenient for those who drive. A cosy place to bring the kids and family to get some books to read. A wide variety of books to all. Nicely decorated and brightly-lit. Crowded during the examination period. Almost impossible to get a table during those period.

So a girl walks into a library... ...and asks the librarian,"Can I have a cheeseburger and fries?" The librarian says,"This is a library..." "Sorry,"The girl whispers,"can I have a cheeseburger and fries?" This review was made possible by my HEX Crypto stakes. Hex.com

One of my favourite library where i spend quality time with my child. Spacious and usually not crowded. Sufficient tables for the young ones. Not forgetting the always helpful staff. There's also a big public carpark behind the library, though not shelter. Hence something to note if it rains. The book return drop operates 24hrs.

My rating: 4/5 What I like in libraries: Books that are available that I originally have on my online To-Be-Read (TBR). Spacious environments. Multiple book genres. The Ang Mo Kio library is very easy to find once you use Google maps. I think the library is an OK library, not horrible, not perfect. There are two levels. The first level has a children's section and adult fiction books. I'd say the adult fiction section is actually really nice. I read through a few of the books and I took multiple pictures to basically remind myself to check them out again. The children's section isn't really a room; it's just some shelves out in the open. The second level has young adult books. The selection had some books that I've already read, and a lot that I have on my To-Be-Read (TBR). There are some Chinese magazines, English fiction books, and Chinese books. More in the corner, there is a space where there are multiple black seats spaced apart. The second level has two tables with computers originally on it, and 6 seats for each of the tables. There is a quiet reading lounge, and at the time I was there, there weren't that many people. But the layout is really nice because there are 9 seats where you can use your phone, read, and listen to an audiobook. But there’s also a few desks with seats where you can read, and maybe use your computer. Overall, I think that the Ang Mo Kio Library is very well organized, spacious, has a nice quiet reading lounge, nice children’s section, and a good place to use your computer and read.
