★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a bad experience here.
There are only so limited area for power socket to be used.
People are making so much noise here. HPs are ringing and buzzing notices from messages. Someone can talk in their normal voice and disturbing everyone around. Such inconsiderate people everywhere.
Won't be coming back for sure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is very big, and there is also a cafe included. I could find any genre of books I want to find, from history to fiction. It is near Bishan CC, where I have my chess lesson. If you want to chillax and have a nice sip of coffee or hot chocolate, this is your first choice on the list. Strongly recommend going to this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pleasant library with a children’s section at the basement. Took my kids there and they really enjoyed the various picture books for their age. There are shelves divided into three major age groups which was convenient. The upper section level 3 has dedicated Singapore collection books.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My favorite place to go, Bishan National Library. One of the most comfortable place to read books & look for articles i.e. documentaries & movie DVD. It has a unique design & space. Mobile charging stations also available

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice cozy & spacious library with diverse books on every level. Nice cafe on level 1 with great coffee & tea! Great place to unwind & relax.
However wish there were more seating areas and study spots with power points?
Staff are warm and friendly, helpful with book recommendations.
The basement is filled with children's books, and has a nice theme. Seating areas for kids are also available.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just a stone's throw away from Bishan MRT station, this 5-level (basement to 4th floor) library is a nice place of solitude from the hustle and bustle of the nearby mall.
Each level does not have a large foot print but laid out well with amble seating area and little nooks framed by its iconic colored glass.
There is also a cafe at the basement if you have a sudden craving for snacks or drinks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quiet, spacious and light-filled Library with areas to sit comfortable and read, or study with your laptop and books spread out on the upper floors (3rd and 4th).
Also a nice Café, Kings Cart Coffee, on the ground floor, serving up great coffee, teas and food.
Constructive feedback and improvements - I found myself wishing that there were more power points beside all, or certainly the majority of desks rather than only one or two.
Other visitors rushed to secure the best seat/s as soon as the Library opened, those with power points. Leaving their personal belongings on those specific desks to 'save' their spot. Even when they were away for coffee/lunch etc. It would be great to see this addressed and improved to ensure the best experience for all guests and visitors.
