M	Melissa Chew on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had my first Korean digital perm at Aqua Hair Salon on 26 Dec with Stylist Lisa. I really enjoyed the experience! Lisa was able to give me advice on what sort of hairstyle would suit me based on photos I took of myself (because of Covid, couldn’t lower my mask), and I seriously love the result. When the perm didn’t take so well the first time, she re-permed my hair a second time to get it just right, which I thought showed a lot of care and professionalism even though I was a first-time customer. I spent 6 hours in the salon, but I walked out really pleased with the hairstyle that I was given. One week later, and I’m still super happy with how the curls are holding up and how easy my hair is to manage! Would definitely come here again when I need a trim or another perm. Thank you!

She took her time to study my hair and ran a few strand tests to make sure the desired colour could be achieved. As the home colour I previously had was rather difficult to remove without causing significant damage, she suggested a touch-up rather than a full head colour. Mina gave good advice for what's suitable and also good for the hair. She then gave a great cut that I am so pleased with! I highly recommend Aqua to anyone who wishes to try a new hair style or just to have a great haircut!
Y	Yx on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been patronising this salon for a couple of years. Always love how they cut my hair and how the end result will maintain even after washing it at home. This is the only time I regret walking-in for a haircut. As I was around the area, I walk-in to try my luck for Lisa or Jessie. Lisa was with a customer & asked if I would like to try the new stylist instead - which I agreed. Probably due to communication (?) she don’t understand what I meant. I explicitly told her I want to keep my hair long, need it to be easier to manage (it’s too thick now) and don’t want it to be too layered till it makes my hair fluffy. She said ok but the result turned otherwise. My hair is super layered, no matter how I blow my hair it’s just so fluffy & wouldn’t budge a single bit. The entire experience was horrendous. Idk what to do with my sickening hair now!

The outcome was super mediocre although I requested her to trim it again after she finished the cut in probably 7 minutes. The reception lady was extremely rude and the male assistant can’t even blow customers’ hair properly. For the price they charge, I’ll say this experience is a disaster.

Even though I opted for only my fringe to be done, I had an overall wash and blow just like how it’s being done in Korea. Loving that new life given to my bangs! Kudos to Lisa and her amazing team. ❤️

However, the staffs made it super easy to make one via email. And I’m very glad I came here. May was super nice and despite our language barrier, she made me feel very welcomed. The haircut was simple but superb! Now I wish there’s Aqua Hair salon near me.
A	Angie Yeo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lisa is very experienced and know what to do and achieve the perm or style you wanted. She’s also very soft spoken, kind, patient, customer focused and hands on. I went to her twice and I will definitely come back again. Highly recommended. As I did perm, I sat for a few hours and overheard some patrons says they don’t know what style they want, they just want a change and walk out of salon nice. I think it’s stressful to handle that as nice looking can be very subjective. But Lisa handled that well. I really like her!
