bought a hot chocolate this morning, it's not properly made does not taste like hot chocolate, there's a mixture of pastries and pasta sauce taste with bacon ... there not even a tinge of chocolate taste ... my own self made hot chocolate is better ... I want a refund !!! ? effort was not put into crafting this simple yet delicious hot chocolate... this simple drink supposed to make my day but instead I'm feeling lousy

Coffee is bad. We bought salted caramel banana almond croissant and conque monsieur, the best seller. Not sure why it’s best seller as it’s normal bread with ham and cheese. Salted caramel banana almond croissant tastes better but it’s soggy. Would be better if it’s crispier. This is a cafeteria.

I was so excited before going, but was very disappointed.. bread was so so, coffee doesnt taste like coffee., well perhaps that's individual taste. As a so called Japanese cafe, , the staff were pulling long faces on a Sunday morning. When I was checking on how to order, the staff just pointed at the board, did not even bother to explain with a word or two. Worst of all, no baby chair available. . Family friendly restaurant??? Staff from Uniqlo and Daiso have much better attitude.

I am very disappointed with my Hokkaido Red bean bun. It has an almost hollow centre. Not at all worth the money. I think it cost $3.50. I paid $12.80 for two Hokkaido red bean buns and two plain croissants. Absolutely no value at all.

Stumble upon this nice Cafe while I came for the Sunday car wash at Autoglym Bukit Timah. Can be a little crowded especially weekends according to the staff. Wide variety of breads and cute ones such as panda, baby seal and tortoise. Small selection of cakes and nice coffee from coffee machine. They even have a small fridge for Ben & Jerry's ice-cream. Each little cup will set you back $6. Prices are generally mid to high side.

Nice Japanese bakery, I feel that the 4 slices of assorted breads is the best for breakfast. Other buns are interesting, mostly for children's with animal shapes. The drinks are normal, did not order coffee as I see the bad reviews on coffees served here. Went with Iced osmanthu sencha instead. Overall pricey bakery with buns ranging above $3+.

Tucked away in a quiet corner, Asanoya Boulangerie at Bukit Timah isn’t as pretty or comfortable as its Queen’s Street counterpart. Bread selection is similar, and they always have very few staff and the tray collection area builds up with many unwashed glasses, cups etc. The trash is collected in a cardboard box by the side… which most certainly isn’t the Japanese standard. As with Asanoya, pricing is on the steep side for bread, but they have good quality to make up for it.
