★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst experience ever in a workshop. Suppose to go there for a clutch change but was informed the problem is with my gearbox which i still have a warranty with a different shop. So i ask the boss, to assemble the gearbox back for which i would pay the labour. The boss wanted to charge me $600 which is daylight robbery for bringing down and putting back gearbox. I went to 3 other reputable workshop which ranges only $200-$280 max for labour of changing clutch on gearbox. This shop did not even need to change clutch for me and charging $600. Beware guys!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Brought my VW Caddy Maxi MPV to louis, told him my car problems, he recommended walnut blasting and changed a few items, car immediately feels lighter and more responsive, price is reasonable too never anyhow charge, worked on my car till late, collected car earlier then expected, more importantly he really familiar with a lot of car models, highly recommended

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was there this morning for my 30,000km basic servicing. (My car mileage is approx 29,000+ only) However was informed by the mechanic that it was recommended to change transmission oil too at every 30,000km, which I was puzzled why was it required. Mechanic mentioned that as my transmission is DCT, thus is more sensitive and advisable to change.
Did a lil search online and even check with my friends mechanic, that transmission oil is usually recommended to change between 60k - 100k km.
Overall, mechanic was friendly and the service was ok. However I really felt that it was unnecessary money spent for the Transmission Oil Change.. Thus, moving forward I will find another workshop for my future servicing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Installed BOV and chargepipe at the workshop. Drove halfway and the pipe came loose after a few days. Went back 3 times to get it fix and they only put a cable tie to secure it. Mechanic is unwilling to entertain. Poor service by the shop owner. Strongly discourage anyone who plan to visit them.
