Bai Nian Niang Dou Foo (百年酿豆腐) has many outlets island wide. At Bai Nian, the items in the soup set are fixed and no selection is required. It comes with 7 types which consist of beancurd, meat tenders, bitter gourd, pork paste, prawn paste, black and white rolls. The golden cube of bean curd is deep fried, with a thin layer of beancurd skin outside and soft inside. Strong notes of soya bean are present with the aroma of a golden coating. The prawn paste has an interesting springy texture with bits of roe mixed into this translucent roll of shrimp goodness. It has prominent bites of chopped up prawns and a mild sweetness to it. The soup is said to be made from brewing soya beans and anchovies. The soup taste clean with prominent notes of soya beans and some umaminess which could be from the anchovies. The spring onion also helps to add a refreshing note to the grease imparted to the soup by the fried pieces. The black roll which is pork paste wrapped in beancurd skin and the white roll which is fish paste in beancurd skin. The beancurd skin is slightly chewy and goes well with both the meat paste. Besides the palatable bowl of Yong Tau Foo, do other the set that comes with a fried chicken wings. Boasting perfectly crisp fried skin, the offering of fried chicken wings may seem to be contrary to the presumably healthy Yong Tau Foo, however, we know it is hard to resist an order of this delectable snack. Bai Nian Niang Dou Fu deserves to be considered one of the best Yong Tau Foo in Singapore

This brand is getting popular n famous. Is very different from usual Yong-Tou-Foo like Gao-Ji brand or those traditional type. It has lesser fresh vegetables but bitter gourd fitted with fish meat. And the rest are mostly fresh fish meat fitted items and their best one was their fresh prawn fitters. With the really tasty and sweet soup base. Recommend you taste the soup version. Yong-Tou-Foo usually not cheap due to charging by number of item you order. Is quite small bowl for mine, but with 9 pieces cost at $5.90. If you like some crispy bite as side, you can try their 7 pieces with 1 mini plate of fried chicken at $6.30. Overall, with their new style and good soup n individual items. I recommended if you haven't try it yet.

Price is high at 5.9 and portion is small. Cannot choose the ingredient which is actually not too bad because queue moves v fast. It is actually super tasty, maybe that's why it is so famous

If I am not wrong, this or a similar stall started in People's Park . Long queues then. But a quick search shows that 100 years yong tau fu has quite a few branches and expanding. They advertise at every branch looking for staff. The yong tau foo is a little ho hum to me. Though the prawn " balls" are made individually in a U channel like device, I can taste the bicarb or additive to make it more " kenyal" or bouncy. The other pieces certainly taste mass produced. At $5.90 per bowl, it is value for money and there is a big queue at lunchtime. Looks like popular hawker fare have to grow big or go out

I Love This Yong Tao Foo! Every component of their Yong Tao Foo Set is perfection! The broth, the meat, the crispy fried drumlets.. no wonder this stall never fails to have a long queue even during non-peak hours. Don’t be disheartened by the long queue though.. it goes really quick. The staff are super efficient they can get you your hearty yong tao foo in less than a minute! The food court itself is not the cleanest.. but who cares lol! Just look for the cleanest table or maybe bring your own paper towel and clean the table hahaha! The yong tau foo set is $7.30.. some might consider it a bit expensive for a hawker dish but its TOTALLY WORTH IT!

The famous Yong Tau Foo stall I heard about happened to be at this Hawker Centre situated near temples, dried provision shops and souvenir kiosks. What a delightful surprise indeed. Soup tasted fragrant and items were fresh. Adored the succulent fried chicken wings served in bowls... amusingly quaint. ?

This is my first time eating this, probably I am the sort that like to pick my choice of ingredients and as such never really had it until today. I must say it is very good. The soup is light and all the items are very fresh and soft and so good that I can’t really decide which of the items is my favourite. Will definitely go for this again in their other outlets.
