Bali Thai (NEX) - 23 Serangoon Central

The best Vegetarian set ever had. Food was awesome.

The food quality wasn't as good as previous visits. I don't know if the food quality is different at the Suntec branch and the one at Nex. I had previously dined on two occasions at Suntec and thought the service, food taste and quality was much better there than at Nex. The green chicken curry was very disappointing as was the ikan bakar.

Generally food is nice although seafood ingredients are not very fresh. Displeased with the fact that we were automatically served ice water before food is served, so we thought that it is free but was later charged for $1 per glass... This kind of thing should be made known to us beforehand.

Good service, polite and friendly waiters and waitresses. Good r nice too.

While trying to enjoy a meal at Bali Thai outlet in Nex, Serangoon mall, my friend was taught how to parent her own child by two of the waiters at the restaurant. My friend's kid was being a kid, enjoying interacting with neighbour tables etc. The waiters (both ladies, unfortunately I don't have their names) could have handled the matter in a professional manner, instead chose to tell my friend in a very condescending tone to "take care of your child, you are the parent". I fail to understand how else is a child supposed to behave if not like a child? If there indeed was a danger to the kid or to the waiters, the same could have been conveyed in a proper way; the waiters could have politely asked the child to move (the child can understand) or distract the child and bring her back to our table, which they never tried. They made rude remarks instead and weren't polite to us to begin with. My friend was insulted and made to feel sorry about her parenting. Is this how patrons to your restaurants are treated? I am left to wonder about how this restaurant would treat families with special needs children. If you don't have staff who can handle such situations, I strongly suggest to put a board outside saying no children allowed. It will save many parents from being humiliated.

1.It's a nice Thai & Bali cuisine restaurant located at 2nd floor in Nex mall near serangoon Mrt They have a separate menu for vegetarians Though the option are limited , they are good enough to satisfy ur taste buds. 2. Second time we visited their restaurant at nex mall . We had green curry with ample of steamed rice they served and asked if its enough or not. Jungle noodles were delicious And also had a Thai iced tea which was free in their social media promotion offer Being a vegetarian having Thai cuisine experience at bali thai is always great

Shoutout to one of the most friendly casual resto manager in singapore! Feels like not in sg where ppl are not as friendly hahaha. Food was nice even though price was kinda pricey. Portion is kinda big!

Quick service, good tasty food. We ordered green thai curry (as always ?), vegetable fried rice, Crispy rice crackers (didn't like much ?)
