26/3/2022 saturday night dinner 7pm+ TLDR: cheap food, expensive drinks, tastes so-so only. good vibes with friends, can try but not worth in my experience. 5 pax available. a bit crowded but seats available and waiting time only around 15 minutes. We got lured in by the charismatic uncle at the front of the restaurant to try their authentic thai dishes. he strongly recommended their tom yum (we got pork 1 bowl is $9.90). we also got their "signature wanton mee" ($5). we understand why he didnt promote their singature is cause it doesnt taste nice lol. we also ordered 2 thai iced coffee ($3.90 each. yes each.) and 1 thai green milk tea. ($3.20). red flag 1: how come authentic thai restaurant has singapore dishes like wanton mee and japanese onsen egg? nonetheless we like trying fusion food. but their signature wanton mee ($5) no kick one. average quality like your normal hawker one considering it is their signature. 2 boiled wanton, 2 fried wanton, 4 pieces of pork and some greens, large amount of egg noodles. is a bit dry also, then their staff came over to our table, muttered they got our order wrong, and walked away. we had online ordering which is quite convenient so we chose their thai sauce for our wanton mee. is that why is so dry? maybe staff forgot to put sauce. red flag 2: we can customise our tom yum soup ($9.90 for pork, $14.90 for seafood) spicy level, and sour level(???). now we realise. is just the MAMA brand of instant tom yum noodles? they use the packaged powder is it? tastes the same, except they add some chilli flakes, lemongrass, some spices. the soup got cold quick in the air con, tastes average only, ingredients only so-so. not transported to thailand, cold reality is the cold tom yum in the claypot. then their drinks can also customise sugar level and ice. our iced coffee ($3.90) 50% sugar level still so damn sweet. not enough of the fragrant tea flavour. thai iced green milk tea ($3.20) also is so-so, very sweet like bbt. clean toilet with toilet paper inside. nice wall murals to look at and cool air con. just wish the food was better.

Affordable Thai food along Thomson Road. Offering comforting basic Thai dishes such as Tom Yum Soup, Basil Chicken along with sides like Thai Fish Cake and Moo Ping. But like everyone else, we are normally here for their signature item - Mama Noodles served in Claypot ($13.90). A medley of seafood, pork and egg, you can even customise the spicy level and sourness of the tomyum broth. It’s so popular that almost every table has one!

Been here multiple times and food is always so good! Have one of the best Tom yum mama in SG and tried the wanton mee for the first time - never turned back. Moo ping is also tender and juicy. Best matched with the iced green milk tea.

Foods above average with friendly and helpful staffs. The wanton noodle chilli is super spicy. You need to try the chilli first before put into the noodle. The signture tomyum mama is yummy but is abit sour for me. Love the deep fried chicken wings, juicy and tasty. Although the coconut milk shake is to sweet for me but I love it! It was so good.

Love the MAMA noodles! Generous serving of seafood. They also have the 2 person set meals for $30 which includes 4 dishes 2 rice and a drink. Quite affordable. And it's super convenient to get there now via the brown line. Will visit again :)

Good bowl of tomyum mama to satisfy your cravings without having to fly to Thailand, portion is good for one. Ordered the crab meat fried rice as well but felt that its just your average fried rice. Chunks of crab meat can be seen but doesn't have a distinct taste to it. Green milk tea is pretty good as its not too sweet. Fuss free eating place with friendly staff.

Lovely tomyum soup with different level of spiciness and sourness to suit individual preference. The fried rice is good too, with its own unique taste. Friendly service staff. Will definitely visit again.

Got a simple way of describing it - this one can eat ;) Think most items were very competent.. particularly enjoyed the fried kangkong (spicy) - the Thai style is just always a tad better. Fried Thai fish sausage was cold though, so we dumped them into the tom yam and that became an upgrade for BOTH (dishes).
