Got their chocolate croissant. It was pretty good. Very flaky but I think it could be more buttery. Very impressed by the price point though. The chocolate croissant was only $2.80 and for that price, I think it's a really good deal.

Wonderful selection of cakes, desserts, pastas. Their Bana Tub-baked Beef balls are heavenly. Friendly staffs awaiting to serve you. Surely a place to drop by if you are heading to Arab Street.

Dated: 18/06/2022 @ about 1430hrs Hot Cajun Pasta Lunch Meal (2 Pastries and a drink): $12.80 Added iced coffee (Butterscotch Coffee) : $1.50 to upgrade from the lunch meal Food - The food took about 10 minutes wait. Upon tasting the food I felt that it exceeded my expectations. I felt an explosion of vibrant flavours upon tasting the pasta. Perhaps I have an affinity to spicy food however the spice did not overpowered the other flavours. It was a creamy mixture of spice and savoury. There was an abundance of meat included. I believe it is chicken sausage and turkey ham. It was cooked to perfection. The coffee is more suited for those who have a taste for sweeter types of coffee or it could be the fact that I took butterscotch coffee which is naturally a sweet flavour. Service - The service staff was very friendly and approachable. They even assisted in explaining the menu. It was an extremely friendly atmosphere in the cafe. I really liked the classy yet minimalistic look of the cafe. It had a very New York vibe to the whole place. I hope I am not reading it wrong. With us having to remove our shoes to go to the second floor made it a very cosy and homely feel. I would definitely come back again to either get work done, study or even bring a date. Summary - I would definitely recommend Bana Bana Cafe to be a place to just hang around with your friends, study or get work done or even bring a date to impress. The food is affordable and the service staff is friendly. The atmosphere is amazing and the location is very convenient. Kudos to the owner and service staff of Bana Bana Cafe. I do however hope to be able to taste your lamb chop bowl one day.

Chanced upon this cafe after my yoga class. Ordered the chicken bowl, the portion is good, delicious and most importantly value for money! Staff are friendly too.

As usual, a pleasure to stop by for the exquisite pastries. Double points for offering tiny sizes of everything... it allows you to have croissant and still stay within your calory budget or indulge in a selection to taste them all! Such a nice ambiance, always a super friendly service. I only wish there was a possibility to eat in. Take away lunch options available (try thr lasagna!) Remember to budget some time to have a look at the boutique offers.

I've been to this cafe multiple times and it has its ups and downs. The down is that I feel like the customer service is too shy. I ordered food and they seem too shy to ask me again what I ordered when they did not hear me. Also, I bought food and drinks and when the food is ready then they started making the drinks because they forgot to make it. Also, the pastas is not consistent. Once I bought it and it's nice but the next it was flavourless. So it depends on luck I guess. Other than that I think the experience been quite pleasant. They have varieties of cakes, bakes and pastries to choose from. Sometimes it is different when I come the next time. The pastries are good eg. the cinnamon rolls. My personal favourite is the biscoff cheesecake! The drink that I bought was good! I can't say for sure everything is ncie because I've only tried one of it from the menu. The price is okay I guess. A bit on the pricey side but also it's the normal price nowadays. There's a boutique upstairs which is okay but limited sizes.

Love their service! Last minute, I had issues ordering cupcakes for my niece birthday from another bakery. Wasn't easy to find halal cupcake which can deliver in a day's time. Tried my luck with Bana Bana Cafe. Initially, they told me they needed 3 days for orders but they accepted my order hearing how desperate I was. Haha. They tried their best to cater to all my requests. They only asked me to pay for the cupcakes, tart and delivery. Nothing on customisation. Hence, I planned to lay it out nicely myself since it was too last minute to ask for so many things. To my surprise, they packed it nicely in a cake box with candles and birthday tag. They even gave us free pastries (i think there was 6!). My family loves it so much that they ate most of it before I can take pics hence the pictures are not doing them justice. Taste wise, its delicious! Not too sweet and rich in flavour. Will definitely support their business when I'm around the area. They are my current favourite cafe. :)

First time here with family and friends. Good service, staff played around with my son. But sadly some of the items I wanted to try was no longer available (mint coffee, philly cheesesteak, rocher cake, etc.) as the menu was updated (what the staff said). But so far everything we ordered tasted good. Ambiance was very "lepak", got board games to play. Fyi, need to go up a flight of stairs to the dining area.
