In a dilapidated shopping mall, opening an account was disgusting. The salesperson was very unprofessional. The account was opened for review. After a few days, I was told that it was not allowed to open. Go to another branch. The point is to open another bank that can open another bank.

โ โ โ โ โ UPDATE: A colleague of mine applied for BOC Smartsaver previously switched from OCBC. He had to switch back to OCBC because he had a hassle following up with the credit card fee waiver and decided to switch back because he is worried he will have more issues like this in the future. Sometimes high interest rate is not worth it. THANK YOU BOC for rejecting my application since I am a US national. This saves me all the hassle! Upgrading to 2 Stars.
