Clean and tidy avoid the peak period for a peace of mind shopping experience

I have patronized Bata since I was a boy. I have purchased shoes, bags, socks and soles from Bata Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore (Singapore being the least) The Toa Payoh branch never gives me that type of bad experiences like other shops. For example, I used to stay at Sengkang many years back and I frequent the Old Compass Point branch where service was almost none. And there was once where I need to pack my own shoes on my own as I have asked for an exchange. Because both shoes I have brought few days back were of different sizes. I went back to exchange. However, the Toa Payoh branch staff was attentive and service orientated. Despite just a few days before CNY and was crowded with shoppers, Ching (as stated on the receipt, not too sure if she is the same person. She was petite and slim) was running about attending to shoppers needs. I had wanted to buy a North Star shoe as I have lost mine many years ago. I had tried a sample from the shelf and requested a new pair. She bought out a new pair and asked me to try. Despite my bad experiences before at Compass Point but I didnt try on as I had trust on her. Yes, trust is important for Sales. I used my birthday codes and she recommended me to buy something else as it can be use only one time, In the end, I decided on a shoe sole, which she recommended a memory type. Again, its the trust that I had in her. She helped to put it inside my shoes to make sure it fit. It does. Thanks for the wonderful experiences and please convey my thanks for her and the team at Toa Payoh for the great hospitality and service.

The lady retail assistant had many customers to serve and still able to give advice and recommendation through her patience and care. Good shopping experience On 4 Sept, 8 pm.

I have always patron this branch even though I have nearer branches around my living area. The sales person are friendly, serve well at the same time giving space for customers to browse and choose.

I want to acknowledge a staff: Sam. He was sooo helpful. I hv problem with my feet n difficult to get appropriate shoes. Sam wanted to hear from me patiently and helped me to get a very good one. Thank you Sam

Amazing exemplary customer service given by Mr Kelvin earlier on. He assisted me even without enquiring much and immediately change the shoe size after I left n pay cause the previous shoes I bought and tested outside the store Is to big and uncomfortable. Keep up the good work kelvin.

Very impressed with the customer service received here! Lady was very polite, professional, and extremely patient. The gentleman was equally polite and helpful as well. Both were doing a very good job in managing the relatively sizable number of customers coming in, enquiring, and wanting to try on shoes. I hardly do reviews for retail stores, but I’m really impressed here. Thumbs up, Bata!
