β β β β β My experience with Dr Loy has always been pleasant. He diagnoses accurately and always speaks with assurance that makes me feel that i am well taken care of. The cost of treatment is also affordable. Even though i stay further away in Seng Kang, i will always go to his clinic when i need to see a doctor. The other staff in the clinic are also polite and helpful. Highly recommended clinic to go to!

β β β β β Best GP in town! My mum had a stubborn eyelid infection which did not improve after consulting 4 other different GPs. After seeing Dr Loy, however, her condition improved drastically. Dr Loy was also able to communicate well with my mum (who does not speak English) and demonstrated great patience and empathy. Highly recommend ??????

β β β β β To the young locum doctor (that stand in on 22nd Jan - Saturday), you seriously need to reconsider being a medical practitioner. Its absolutely clear that you aren't qualify as one. Let me explain:
Had a really bad sore throat and had to go down for a consultation. Went in the room and saw this young locum. Told him I had a really painful sore throat and there were spots on the hands. Suspected might have gotten HFMD. He asked if my kids got it. I said no but there are outbreaks in the school. Without even performing the necessary checks or even bother to ask further questions on why I had suspected, he straightaway made his deduction that its not possible for me to have it since the kids don't have it. But do you know I have friends who did contracted HFMD where none of his family members did. As a young doctor with limited clinical experiences, you are so reliance on what you learnt from medical books, make the judgement straight away prior to any diagnosis, I don't think you would have any significant breakthrough in the medical fields. Experiences and knowledge are to help you in making faster and more accurate diagnosis. They are not to discourage to even make a diagnosis before passing a sweeping statement on patient's claim.
As we proceed to check my throat (with him sitting a distance away), within a second of lowering down my mask, I was asked to put it back. Next he asked me to do my ART test. There was no mentioning of how's the check on my throat. And within that second and at a distance away, seriously, what can you see. I am a patient there to seek consultation and clarification on my conditions, not there to infect you with any disease nor there to just hear from you telling me "We'll do an ART test for you and see if you need to be isolated". HELLO! There is no mentioning of my throat condition when its causing me so much pain. If I just want to do my ART test, I can do it at home. If you are so scare of patient, then you are definitely not suitable to be a doctor.
From this incident, you definitely do not qualify as a doctor both professionally and ethically. Please do not continue this route. Leave it to someone more worthy. Go do something else. Don't waste patient's time.

β β β β β I had to get an urgent consult yesterday and was so thankful to chance upon the Chat Service offered by Doc Inc. not forgetting the fast responses despite the pandemic period. In fact, Doc Inc. has been my go- to clinic for the last 15 yrs, my experience with Dr Loy has been very consistent all these yrs, to name a few- great listener; probes alot and super positive- which is what a patient will need at that moment in time. Thank you for following up and letting me know the results despite being off duty Dr Loy!
