β β β β β Coach Daniel and his team of coaches are very passionate in their coaching. I have never come across a coach that goes in details to make sure his students understand what he wants them to achieve. I would recommend parents to bring their kids or adults to try the sessions themselves to believe.

β β β β β Coach Jia Wei is currently coaching both my kids and he is a very patient coach. We noticed improvement is both our children skills and the confidence during the practice. No regrets to sending them to BE a Champ Badminton.

β β β β β My daughter Alethea has trained with Coach Douglas for about 2 years now. Her footwork and technique has improved a lot during this period. The intense training under Douglas has helped build her determination and strength of character, which are invaluable for any growing young person. She recently became the Captain of the badminton team at Raffles Girlsβ Primary, trained by Coach Daniel and is competing in the inter-schools competition. Being in the school team has helped her develop a strong sense of camaraderie among her and her teammates. Alethea is growing to love the game day by day! Her younger sister, Andrea will also be training with Douglas and aims to follow in her sisterβs footsteps. We are grateful to Coaches Daniel, Douglas and the team at Be A Champ for their dedication and commitment all these years! ?

β β β β β My son Daniel, 9yrs old started learning from Coach Daniel - Be A Champ Academy since 4 May 2018.
Coach Daniel and his team of coaches are very passionate in their coaching. We see the enthusiasm in my son, Daniel, he looks forward to going for his badminton class each week. Now the younger brother Joseph join in the badminton training starting on 27 July too after seeing his older brother has developed and improved his badminton skills.
I would recommend parents to bring their kids to go for trail lessons to see and experience.
Best place for your childβs badminton development! Thankful!
Thank you Coach Daniel - Continue to touch the hearts β₯οΈ of the Children to unleash their potential within. Blessings!

β β β β β The formative years of every child is very important. Every person he / she meets is a mentor to the child, for the child to become a nice person himself.
We are extremely proud of sending our child to Coach Danielβs academy, because along with the badminton skills Coach Daniel helps every child to build a strong character.
My son who is with Coach Daniel for more than a year now, is showing improved signs of maturity and camaraderie.
Best of all, the kids like Coach Daniel a Lot.
Thank you Coach
Regards

β β β β β Been training with Daniel for almost a year now. I realized that even as a ex school player in my younger days, I actually didnβt have the technique training portion and finally had a labrum tear and injure my wrist due to wrong technique.
Before Daniel, I attended another coach and school, the coach couldnβt identify my mistakes and the training school I attended only had physically footwork training and I feel like just training for their younger under 12 players instead of me getting trained. Was a complete waste of time other than having a gd workout. Was totally not what Iβm looking for.
After joining Daniel, he was able to identify all the small little bad habits and started to correct them. From basic lop/drop/smash/backhand, to singles and doubles netting and cross net doubles formation. Biggest take away was definitely the doubles formation 1-7 and defense. Even as a former school player, I wasnβt even aware the principles behind it. If I would have spent the same 5 yrs in training squad with daniel during the younger days, Iβm very sure I would have excel a lot more in competitions in my younger days.
Highly recommended for folks looking to correct their techniques and for organizers trying to bring up their play group standards.

β β β β β I have been training with Coach Daniel for a couple of weeks now and I find him to be a very good coach. He is enthusiastic and teaches with lot of passion. He tries to get the technique as correct as possible and explains very well. I will highly recommend him.

β β β β β I'm a 35 year old, no sports back ground, late learner of the sport. I've been very serious about my training and have been through many coaches in the last few years. Daniel is the best coach I have ever met. He is extremely knowledgeable but more importantly, has spent the effort to break down and prepare effective pedagogy to impart the skills.
There are many great players out there, but not so many great coaches. There is no quick fix to getting good, but I have seen massive improvement in my knowledge and skill level ever since I started learning under Daniel.
He is also very encouraging and listens to you and your goals and helps you to achieve them. Training sessions are effective but fun and there are good vibes around it.
All of these, alongside many other positive traits makes me truly believe that Daniel is one of the very best coaches in Singapore. It is one of my dreams to be able to teach as well as he can and help others around me as well.
