Cozy bar experience in the heartland. The foodie is acceptable with the pricing. Good chill out place with your friends!

Such a nice place to chill, the Guinness beer was creamy and smooth, and the food tasted great as well! The sambal cream pasta and prawn aglio olio were so good that we finished everything. Highly recommend the yam chips too, it was so addictive! Definitely will come back again ?

Arrived at slightly before 7pm on a Friday (did not make a reservation), there were many seats which were quickly filled up before 8pm. I think it is best to make reservation way beforehand. Always love Beer Basket because it's really chill and catch up with friend over beer.

Beer basket is tucked away in the heart of Serangoon/Kovan, with great craft beers as well as well food options. The beef burger and fries ratio was perfect. The bun to patty ratio was just nice, accompanied with their special square and caramelised onions. Had the beer battered fish and chips as well, and it wasn’t flaky. The fish that was used were dory fish, and it wasn’t over cooked. The carbonara spaghetti pasta wasn’t too creamy, and the portion of fish to pasta was just nice. Had the butter milk fried chicken which was a good portion as an appetiser/ bar bites, and it goes well the variety of craft beers they have. I have yet to try their recommended food options such as the Ngoh Hiang and the sambal stingray, however, if they can nail the food I have ordered, I would look forward to trying their recommended dishes. The staff is really friendly as well, so you don’t have to worry about not feeling at home. Would definitely recommend this area if you’re looking for craft beers as well as a draught Guinness.

love the ambience, food & definitely the walkable distance from our place to here! we came here once yesterday to eat with our friends & the food we tried was the truffle fries (must have!!), carbonara, shrimp aglio olio & quesdallia! we loved this place so much that we came back today (the next day!!) though wanted to try their menu for the pizza but we will have to wait next week~ we tried the creamy sambal pasta & my hubby ate back the shrimp aglio olio! pasta is def filling! :)

Butter-milk Fried Chicken Bites, Spam Fries, Ngoh Hiang and Guiness Blackcurrent. Thanks to my buddy’s recommendation. This Guinness is special because of the added blackcurrant and their beer grub are really shiok too!

Arrived around 7 and it was still relatively empty but by 8 the place was filled out even on a weekday night. Great range of craft beers. Can be a little pricey definitely. Cheese Nachos were great and loved them. The burger and fish & chips were subpar and not cheap either. Stick to your craft beers and finger food here. Staff were friendly and overall still a pretty alright experience.
