Great place to learn how to create using Annie Sloan products, the workshops are accessible to diverse age groups. A creative haven for those who live for colour!

I never pause. I’m always on the go. Last year I decided to pause ever so often and potter around the house to do things that made me happy. Little did I expect to get addicted. The reason for addiction ? The delightful store - Big Blue Trunk! I walked in and fell in love with the magic Chalk paint could create.... I started following them on Instagram and was inspired every day by how you can #makeverydaybeautiful. I started small - with three little storage boxes from ikea which brightened up our open shelf until in the living room. I then moved onto another, bigger, plain old boring storage shelf - That now sits proudly in our living room pretending to be an old antique piece ? . I moved onto painting our kitchen door , which was so badly scratched by our doggies I couldn’t bear to look at it anymore. The paint covers the scratches & I used stencils to paint extra patterns on the parts that were marred the most! The inside of our house made me happy with these lovely upcycled pops of colour so I moved to the outside.... A very old, rusted plant stand now livens up our patio in sunny yellow. Another very old, staid brown wooden bench got a new avatar in Blue - looking classy and elegant in our driveway. Many cups of tea are consumed on it every day. The paint is super easy to use, trust me I’m no painter! It allows fir freedom and free flow , there is no such thing as the wrong way to do it. It’s plain fun. To sum it up, there is nothing not to like about Big Blue Trunk. It has inspired me, made our home a happier place and most importantly helped me pause , slow down & smile. They truly do #makeverydaybeautiful

A quaint escape from busy Singapore. Every visit to Big Blue Trunk makes my senses happy. This is the place to buy Annie Sloan chalk paints and accessories. Not to mention, art magazines, creative collectibles and adorable drawer knobs. They often host workshops on chalkpainting techniques and are happy to repurpose and enhance old furniture. A great place to visit if you want to connect with the artist within.

Deepti's 'Big Blue Trunk' is a pleasant surprise. I personally love the space, love what Deepti does and the personal touch she brings to each and very work of hers. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a dash of colour in your home, looking for some DIY fun or simply would like to explore panting workshops / classes. It is a lovely experience!

My wife and I had a great time with Deepti at Big Blue Trunk. Being a big DIY-er, my wife had a blast learning about the brilliance of chalk paint for indoor projects. Our workshop involved giving a serving tray a new lease of life, and we ended up creating something very unqiue. Deepti and her colleague were extremely helpful and always had great suggestions. If you're into DIY and need supplies or even someone to bounce your ideas off, this is the place to go.

Had a lovely experience shopping from Big Blue Trunk. The products are good and Meeda from the store, was patient, funny and a great help! She helped me pick the paint colour and explain the process. I am glad I went with her suggestions. Definitely going back for more.

The Ultimate Upcyling Workshop at the Big Blue Trunk was so much fun as I got to use my creativity to turn an old antique chair into a bright new chair! There are so many beautiful colours to choose from that I had a hard time deciding which one I wanted to use. If I needed help with anything, they would come to me and guide me through it. Even as a 15 year old, I enjoyed the process of painting a chair and waxing it at the end. I also painted a birdcage, which was the first time I was there and it was so much! Definitely recommend this place! ??
