Delicious broth that will definitely keep me coming back cos it’s really good!! The fish is very fresh as well. The tze char food were also cooked with high standards and they are all very yummy. Strongly recommend this place for family and friends gathering!

Very delicious meal that I had here. Ordered the two pax set for ~$50, that comes with a small size fish head steamboat with one choice of meat and vegetable each. For the meat, we chose 排骨王 (pork ribs) and it was simply heavenly. The meat was very tender, and together with the tasty sweet&sour sauce - I could’ve easily finished one bowl of rice with that plate of meat. We then had the stir-fried french beans - which were cooked to perfection. The french beans still had the crunch when it was served and was really complementary to the meal we had. Last but not least, the fish head steamboat. It is really one of the best I’ve had in Singapore. The soup had a nice herbal fragrant and tasted just amazing. The natural sweetness of the fish came through perfectly and had a nice tanginess so you won’t feel too “gelak” after drinking bowls and bowls of it. This is definitely a must try if you are in the area and honestly it is hard to miss as their signboard was very prominently displayed outside the mall. Looking forward to my next visit here - hopefully with more people (as COVID restriction eases)~

Batang slice fish soup steamboat set that comes with a vegetable dish and a meat dish for $49.90 was quite value for money, feeds 3 adults. Hor fun was an add on, quite tasty. Service is lacking though, aunty was quite grumpy.

The 2 of us had the 49.90$ set menu that includes a sliced fish (2 kinds of fish) steamboat, prawn paste mid-joint wings & stir fry long beans. The broth is tasty & umami without the MSG after effect of extreme thirst, not stingy with the "base" of cabbage, seaweed, tofu and fried yam. The 2 other side dishes are full-sized. The wings are juicy and marinated nicely without being overly salty. The long beans are crunchy & sweet with the topping of fried minced dried shrimps and garlic. 3 pax to polish this set will be ideal. The chrysanthemum is definitely homebrewed with the flowers. Not sweet at all and compliments the strong taste of the dishes and reduces heatiness! The staff are friendly and polite! Will be back again very soon with my family!

201 Kim Tian Road #01-400 inside Koufu food court The Alexandra restaurant is perpetually full so we gave the branch at 201 Kim Tian a try. Ordered the chilli crabs too which we forgot to take photographs of. Super fresh crabs, meat was full. Unlimited refill of soup for the fish hotpot which is so sedap! Many round tables for 10pax available. Ample parking at the HDB multi storey car park just behind 201. Food came fast. Stress free dinner with 100% satisfaction. A 5 ⭐ recommendation! Reasonable tasting fish steamboat soup. Ordered the red grouper, fu yong omelette and salt egg prawns. Soup had lotsa ingredients with complimentary soup top up. Service was average and payment is either cash or paynow.

Came down for the fish steamboat after reading some good reviews online. However realised that the fish steamboat goes by weight of fish so for 2 pax ( ie 600 grams fish ) , it’s 48 plus Service charge ( ie likely to come up to 55) - found that it was too steep - was only prepared to pay 35 to 40 at most . Changed plans to order a san lor fish hor fun but hor fun ran out although we were one of the first few customers . Really disappointing since this was the second item I was looking forward to. The saving grace was probably the 排骨王. Tender and not fatty , the sauce had the right blend of flavours . The dried shrimps French beans were well executed but quite pricey. The la la bee Hoon was tasty but the cleaning of the clams was probably careless - so there were sand bits and broken shell bits in the bee Hoon which we bit into . So please be careful if you are ordering this for children or the elderly ( not recommended ) . Would highly recommend the 排骨王。

Finally get to try this fish steamboat and I must say, I am not disappointed. The soup does not have MSG and is full of flavours. They bothered to add in the fish skeleton and fried it too, which should have added to the taste. We ordered the red grouper and it was very fresh. The steamboat came with lots of veggy and had yam too. They have other dishes as well but the main focus should be the fish steamboat. Best of all, its air conditioned so you won't sweat while drinking up all the soup. Service staff was great. Can park at AV and walk over. Will definitely return. Oh, I almost forgot to add that they gave us free red bean soup for dessert. So nice.
