★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for a casual date, especially since its so conveniently located near the MRT.
First time trying Kombucha and it was really refreshing! I ordered the Truffle beef & Foie Gras Bowl while my partner tried the Rustic beef stew. The beef in both dishes was really tender with generous servings!
The staff were really friendly and even gave complimentary apple salad!
Would definitely recommend especially for a casual date after work!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ [vegetarian options available!] I was always more of a stew person, so I got lucky when Bowls and Bites offered both a vegetarian stew and a chance to try kombucha for the first time. The Korean Cheese Tofu Stew had many ingredients and even a slice of blow torched cheese. The Harmony Kombucha tasted refreshing. Each set also came with a small apple salad!

Was really impressed by the dishes that I tried, but my favourite out of the two has got to be the Truffle Beef bowl. The truffle wasn't too overpowering, but it lent nice fragrance to the dish. The beef itself was really amazing — soft, tender and full of flavour. The furikake topping also a nice addition :) There's also an option of either choosing salad instead of rice if you're looking for a healthier base alternative! Overall, service was really good and the food came quickly. Each bowl arrives warm too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious food, had the salmon mentaiko bowl which was very filling and the refreshing pandan lemongrass drink. The pearl rice was the highlight for me because of how well the flavours of the egg, teriyaki sauce, mentaiko and furikake mixed together with the rice. Would recommend to my friends!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tucked away in a cozy corner at China Square Food Centre, Bowls and Bites offers value-for-money meals and snacks at an affordable price. On my recent trip here, I tried the Truffle Beef Bowl. A dish which featured delicious slices of beef, showered with a generous amount of Truffle and topped with a decadent amount of furikake. The Kombucha also made for an excellent pairing with the Truffle Beef Bowl, and I would highly recommend trying this combination for anyone visiting!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had the Truffle Beef Bowl ($16.90) with Foie Gras ($3), a decent bowl for its price. The truffle aroma was strong and permeated the entire dish, and made for a decadent base combined with the onsen egg and rice. The beef was soft and flavorful, done medium rare. Would come again to try the other bowls!

Ordered the truffle beef and beef stew. The portion was fairly generous and more importantly, the flavours were awesome!
Also tried the soy sauce fried chicken. Not as sweet as those from the Korean store and I think it tasted much better.
Certainly will be back to try other dishes.
Back again and had the unagi bowl, I must say it was ??????. Probably will be coming back more often... ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food provided by the restaurant was delicious. I had the truffle beef bowl with some apple salad. My drink order was the pandan lemongrass drink. The beef was tender and delicious, it pairs well with the rice. The drink was rather refreshing, with each element standing out on its own, yet going well together. The apple salad was also delicious.
