Noodle is good. Squid is not worth it with $14.00 price tag. Old auntie that is working as a waiter seems to make people to go as fast as she can. I was eating with my buddy for lunch today and my buddy finish the meal first and while I am still eating she tidy up my buddy plates take all the condiments in the small saucer that we get from the restaurant for us to eat and I was in the middle of enjoying my food. I am still eating and she wait there for a good 15 seconds and once I finish eating she take the plate as fast as she can. Good Noodle but not a good experience

We had both the original and the black wanton mee. The best reason I am loving them much due to the fragrance of the pork lard they are being tossed in. The black sauce actually localised the thai wanton mee. I also enjoyed the ingredients that’s in it. The thickness of the charsiew was just nice, the pork lard is crispy and also the wantons. It was a much better thai wanton mee compare to the last one I had, couple of week ago even though that had quite a media coverage too. We also ordered the pork trotter on its own as I was craving for it too. I like the balance of the fats and lean meat with some salted vegetables topped on them.

Now we can get our Thai wanton noodles from soi 19 in CBD. Usual familiar taste! ?? Tried the curry noodles, not bad too!

You have probably tried Soi 19 wanton mee before. But have you tried their side dishes? Side dishes are exclusively available at their newest Telok Ayer outlet! ? ?Thai BBQ Squid ?14.90 Well-marinated and tender! Brings back fond memories of tasty night market food. ?Thai BBQ Pork ?11.80 Aromatic and juicy. Love the char! ?Fried Squid ?12.80 Crispy and nice chewy texture. Other than their signature wanton noodles, they have also introduced other mains which are worth trying! ?Curry Wanton Mee ?6.80 Curry is so shiok! Slightly spicy imo. Great alternative when I wanna switch from my favourite black sauce noodles hehe. ?Thai Pig Trotter Rice ?7.80 The pig trotter is so tender! I usually dislike fatty stuff but the collagen and fats here are soft and I can finish them easily. ? Wanton Noodles (Original/ Black Sauce/ Soup) ?6.80 I’ve always enjoyed their flavourful black sauce noodles! Those with lighter palate may prefer original or soup. Wash down these yummy food with some drinks! Hot/iced drinks and alcohol (draught and bottled) are available. The Aiyu Bing ηˆ±ηŽ‰ε†° that I tried is refreshing! ?If you find my above review helpful, check out my IG @samlivestoeat for more foodie reviews! ?

Paid $19.80 for black wanton noodles and fried squid. Wanton noodles was ok but the fried squid which cost $12.80 was really bad. The batter was mushy, not crispy at all like it was under-fried and yet the squid was overcooked as it was too rubbery to chew. Normally fried food you have to wait around 15-20mins for them to fried the item upon ordering. I would not be surprised if they cook this in high heat to rush out the order during lunchtime as I only had to wait for less than 5mins to collect my order. I had to chew 50% and spit out 50% of the rubbery parts which you can see on the right. In the end I gave up and threw the entire box away with more than half still left. An expensive and unsatisfying lunch. Totally not worth it.

Love this place. The food is super good. The service is beyond expectation. The shop is crowded but they manage very well and take good care. The price is very reasonable too. This is one of the best meals I have eaten in Singapore.

Great lunch spot for CBD folks. Black Sauce Thai Wonton Noodles (S$6.80) - my personal favourite out of all the wonton noodles. Not too sweet, but rich in flavour. Original Thai Wonton Noodles (S$6.80) - lighter flavour profile in the noodles. The Thai fish sausage was delicious! Curry Wanton Mee (S$6.80) - a well-executed dish that doesn’t taste too different from your usual curry noodles. Thai Pig Trotter Rice (S$7.80) - the pig trotter was delicious, and the rice (with the pig trotter sauce) was nice too, along with the seasoned vegetables and egg. Thai BBQ Squid (S$14.90) - just the right level of doneness, with a nice flavour from the sweet BBQ sauce. Thai BBQ Pork (S$11.80) - well-executed and not too tough, with a similar sweet BBQ flavour. Thai Pork Sausage (S$7.50) - I liked this fried sausage! Aiyu Bing (S$4) - I liked having this with my meal. For more food reviews, check out my IG @foodlesstravelled!

Great lunch spot, fast and efficient service so you don’t have to wait too long for your food (dine-in or takeaway). Best time to visit is before 12pm and after 1:30pm, anytime in between that is just the prime peak hour with really long lines. Well balanced and delicious bowl of noodles, good portion as well. They serve really good side dishes as well and a good variety of noodles/rice! They have a good number of seats and turnover is fast so you can come around with a bunch of colleagues and get a seat pretty quickly.
