Bruno's Pizzeria & Grill - 344 Tanjong Katong Rd

Simple and yet generous. I like the angel hair pasta and its flavourful . If you are looking for simple, affordable and laid back Italian place, this is the place. It's a family restaurant and kids are welcomed. They have a long menu so take your time to screen through and choose :) I didn't have the dessert because I was too full from then starters (sorry no pics) and the main.

Food was superb!! Ravioli was so creamy with mushrooms. Grilled foie gras was crispy on the outside n soft in the inside. Melted in our mouth ? Waited close to 30mins for the apple tart. Next time, gotta order midway through our main course ?

friend bought 4pax dinner @ Bruno’s tanjong katong 10.7.2022 prices are on the high side for the location & ambience more of a cafe food is good so that makes up for it though not specially good or better than others burrata with parma ham $40 expensive not the best ..doable above average texture of burrata soft but a bit mushy..taste ok truffles pizza $48 good but price clearly way out for me ..I think $28 about it rack of lamb $36 the best dish tender moist & tasty & a great tasty salad side tagliata (di manzo) $48 I think angus grass fed ribeye pretty good not the best also great salad a bit ratatouille side after dinner we had coffee..server very friendly cheerful good service not familiar with piccolo latte..I had flat white coffee was average I guess..got microfoam & bit of latte art not silky smooth fully integrated..

Really like the no frills and cosy ambience for Bruno’s! Nice little area located within shophouse areas at Tanjong Katong. There are parking within the private houses area located at the slip roads beside. Food wise I think most of the dishes were above average and ingredients were fresh and portions generous.

Today specials - grilled octopus ? & fresh oysters ? ordered 2 mains + lobster bisque & 1 dessert. Food took awhile to serve but good portion sizes

We’ve always ordered food from Bruno’s and was really amazed by the quality of their steak (Yes, delivery!) so we wanted to try it out at the restaurant. Overall the food was great and the steak tasted even better there. The only thing we didn’t really enjoy was the paella as it was very thick and a little bit dry, the flavour was good nonetheless. The atmosphere was very cosy so it’s definitely a good place for a chill dinner date or with family.

Was one of our favorite neighborhood Italian restaurant which we visited every couple of months and during Covid we had multiple takeaways and delivery from them. This visit is our first trip down to the restaurant after Covid. Unfortunately we are quite disappointed with both the service and food. Not that it was bad, it was just a far cry from what it used to be. Service staff were polite but sometimes a bit clueless. The sauce for our mains was only served to us when we were halfway thru with it and was lukewarm. She had clearly forgotten about it but all she did was just place it on the table. The potato gratin that we remembered being one of the nicer side item, was dry and barely warm. Clearly left out for too long and wouldn’t be surprised if it was reheated from the day before. Lamb chops, while flavorful and tender, were sliced so badly that every piece was a different size. Don’t think this would be the case if either of the owners was in the restaurant. Wonder with their expansion, have they franchise this branch out or are they spread out a little too thin. Next time will probably just get takeaway.

I've not eaten at a lot of Italian restaurants in Singapore, but I've eaten in Italy and it's difficult to find good Italian food in Singapore. This is my favorite Italian restaurant in Singapore so far, big portions. Unfortunately, I was so into my carbonara, ate through halfway before I remembered to take a picture of how beautiful it is when served.
