Bubblesland Playhouse - 238 Compassvale Walk

A chidcare centre in this neighbourhood. The surroundings are nice and peaceful.There is a nice children's playground beside the block and a small park infront. Dated : 11/07/2017 (Wednesday).

Very disappointed with the attitude of the principal, Tolly. She shows quite bad attitude & not very helpful/professional as well. Very selective over her choice of kids in school.

My kids are very happy there and they look forward to school everyday. I personally like the warm and friendly staff.

Not convenient to comment much but can’t help saying this is one of the worst preschool my child and I had experienced so far. I wish I can give negative 5 stars. Parents, pls don’t waste ur time and money. Get a better school for better care and education????

Teachers are not bad , friendly , patient and nice to kids. However the downside is if you want to get any funds reimbursed/ return back to you, be prepared to wait for AGES.

Horrible school management. Take super long to get back your any funds and deposit.. is really very ridiculous. Portion of meal given to the kids are really little. Teachers are more like nannies than certified educators.. gonna think twice before enrolling your child in this school.

Pros: Not bad. Class size small & Teachers are patient understanding.?? Cons: New principal Tolly is not being caring and definitely not helpful. Processing/submitting of subsidies application & cheque refund Super Super slow, takes around 2 months! Very poor management ?

Like most parents, we were searching around for a good preschool nearby Sengkang when we chanced upon Bubblesland Playhouse. Considered carefully before enrolling because of all the seemingly poor reviews.. which seemed to be about admin matters anyway. Fast forward to nine months later, we almost could not bear to change school (due to proximity) as our child loves this school very much. To help other parents out there, we made a list of pros and cons based on our observations. Pros: - School principal and team of teachers are very experienced, especially Zhang Lao Shi. - Excellent student-to-teachers ratio. - School is not air-conditioned (unless during haze period). - Open concept/along corridors as opposed to newer preschools which have little windows/fresh air. - Despite most reviews, we have never faced any admin issues with CDA or school fee matters. - School app is basic but works well as teachers are responsive to queries posted on it. - Diverse group of students and teachers. - Many activities are done during the day which was evident through the worksheets that are given back to parents. (drawings, colouring, art & crafts) - Not extremely strict on attire. (helps with morale of the kid, sometimes.) - Plenty of dancing throughout. - Strict entrance health checks on students in the morning. (Students with flu are advised to send home immediately) Cons: - No sheltered walkway from school to car drop-off/pick-up point unless you use the walkway at the back of the school or take the long sheltered path to the carpark. (Not the school's fault, I guess?) Hope these helps somebody out!
