★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of three railway truss bridges in Singapore, this one overlooks Bukit Timah Road which is one of the oldest highways in Singapore. Interestingly, there are the numbers 1871 painted at one of the entrance to the bridge but the bridge and the other over Upper Bukit Timah Road were only opened in 1930.
