Burger Frites - 340 Joo Chiat Rd

BF burger is ordered to medium well but it is overcoooked. Patty is dry too. Petite fries is as what others said, overly soggy. Not sure if it’s meant to be like that, but it’s not good. And fries are meant to be long so that it’s easier to dip into ketchup.

Yes yes, we did give a 3 star rating ? and yes we did read the other reviews and that's why we decided to try it out BUT It wasn't that the food wasn't good...it was but it wasn't great... not good enough for us to say 'we will be back' ? Ordered the Combo for 2 ? the portions were huge ... It's crazy... we couldn't finish what we ordered... And we were hungry at that! ? We wonder if anyone else had the issues we had - we couldn't enjoy the burgers ?? like a burger : it was stacked way to high. We ended up having to disassemble the burger into minced steak with melted cheese, served with sesame seed toast and salad topped with bacon on the side ? We went along with the recommendation of having the parties medium done, but it came medium well, in our humble opinion, as the parties turn out drier than we had expected it to be. The combo came with 2 sides (we got the Chicken Tenders ? and Mozzarella Sticks?) and the homemade fries ?. No complaints about the sides. They were served hot and crispy ?. The fries? however were a huge disappointment. There's just this thing about homemade fries... unless the recipe and method is perfected, it would normally disappoint and sadly it did. Although it was served hot, it lacked the crunch... And was quickly soggy when it cooled... The other thing that was missing was the ambience... It's a burger joint, but had a pub by night atmosphere as it was dimly lit. It sadly lacked personality. (Note to owners - Perhaps some background music may help ?) As with several other posts, we admit that we are one spoilt bunch ? Food was good, but sadly, not great enough for us to be back.

Ordered snacks and classic cheese burgers, was so hungry and excited we finished the burgers before we took the pictures. Delicious food and very nice service! Small frites was a favourite! will definitely come back again!! :))

Very nice from far, Far from very nice. Details during the ordering process was conveniently left out. Finally, when customers left the packed unfinished food behind there's a higher chance they forgot about it rather than they don't want it especially since they asked for them to be packed.

The burger & food was actually very nice. Service & ambience was weird.. no music & complicated order process (although i think they overheard us as music suddenly came on + then manually took our order) not as causal/welcoming as a burger place should be… but tasty burger/fries!

Went during lunchtime and got in our orders relatively easy and served in 10mins. They dun accept pay wave, so used NETS. 1. BF cheese burger was good like any gourmet burger. Patty was slightly overcooked more of medium well then medium, but overall flavourful and juicy. 2. Fries was weird. It's soft and floppy yet it's very warm. Usually soft is due to left too long. So maybe it was fried a while back and just heated up? Definitely handmade though. 3. Pistachio milk shake thick and creamy with crunchy bits but still easy to go down with. The best out of the trio. And like some commented, it's rather pricy easily $30 per pax with drinks.

Burgers all taste great and saltiness were on point ?. The fries is also evenly good didn’t know fried onions would be a good combo. Chicken are also good but for the mozarella sticks we just recommend to have a salsa dip instead. The service was superb and the staff did his best to satisfy our needs for the whole duration. Overall it was a great experience for my family and definitely recommended ?☝?

Pleasant experience dining at Burger Frites! Menu was simple, nothing too overly fancy or complicated. Burger was great: Nicely toasted buns, crispy turkey bacon, juicy patty and flavourful cheese. My side of fried chillies were really good too, crispy batter and a nice kick at the end. If you’re around the area, can definitely give it a try! Ain’t the best burger in the country, but good enough for my humble tastebuds :D
