The Croissants and Pain au Chocolat were solid, among the best I've had in SG. The Hojicha Honey Mochi Scone is also worth a try. The amount of honey is just right, not overpowering the other flavours.

Bought this chocolate cake ($6) to try, surprisingly it is not cloyingly sweet, I would say the sweetness is on point for someone who takes teh C kosong. ? thé cake still retains its moisture.

It's a good croissant that is flaky on the outside, airy on the inside with clear layerings. Can say it beats my regular breakfast croissant at a cbd bakery, but at twice the price. Pay for quality.

The croissant itself is nice. Upon eating half of it I was instantly transported to a 1800s Christmas dinner, where sausages were an expensive commodity and my family of 10 had to share a sausage. Our mother would carefully slice the sausage into thin silvers of meat, in the hope that everyone can enjoy a tiny morsel. That's how much sausage you get in the sausage croissant. Not worth the moolah.

Probably the only quality bakery items in Hougang area. Love their croissants! Heard their tarts and cakes are worth a try too.

I love the sourdough offerings (tried the original and jalapeno mozzarella) here! They are moist without being overly gummy and we've had them for two weeks in a row now haha. The cakes (chocolate and blueberry) are also excellent - fragrant and not dry. Prices are great too! Funnily enough though, I didn't enjoy their croissant or pain au chocolat. The pastry is unfortunately not fluffy at all and the chocolate filling for the latter was a tad bit stingy imo. After reading another review below, I also realize the staff might have given my mum the wrong order too - she wanted to get a ham and cheese croissant but we discovered it was a plain croissant when we got home haha.

Only discovered this gem after the review by 8 Days even though Midtown is near by place. Thus yesterday morning, a Saturday, decided to swing by and try it. Reached the shop some 10 minutes before it was due to open at 11am but it didn’t open till about 11.15am. Fortune we were earlier and there was just a few persons in front of us. After us, a long queue of another 13 groups formed behind us. I ordered the original croissant ($4), pain au chocolate ($4.50), ham and cheese croissant ($4.50) and the chocolate cake ($7.50). Just a bag of bread and the bill was $29.50. Note that credit card payments are only on purchases $30 and above. My family enjoyed the pain au chocolate and chocolate cake. The pastries are indeed flakey and light. The chocolate items are rich and fragrant and the sweetness level is on point. Just one gripe. Due to the thriving business, the lady packing the items do get it wrong even though the ordered announced the orders loudly and clearly. So do look at the packer when she picks the items into the bag. My ham and cheese croissant became the sausage croissant. While my friend had a missing item. The pastries do live up to the hype but still, I’ll buy again only on a week day if the queue is short or after the hype dies down. It’s a tad expensive, so will probably be more selective on what to buy.

One of the better bakeries around. Well hidden in the midtown one could easily walk past it without noticing. Decided to try because was told the baker had some good experience credentials elsewhere. The pastries were pretty good even left after a day, just had to do a little heating with the airfryer to make it hot and crispy. The mochi is oh so good it's really different from the other kinds of mochi people use in the pasties, so soft and chewy and love the gluey texture especially after a little heating up. Enjoyed them though the price is a little expensive. Recommend the mochi scones and the croissants and egg tart. Definitely worth the try and would visit again.
