★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No more fried carrot cake. Try the Yong tau fu instead. Items that need to be deep fried would be served separately from the main bowl. Soup base includes laksa, tom yam etc. Friendly uncle, assisted on shift, by either wife or son.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very neighborhood coffeeshop. Many food stalls in and out. Only surviving stalls like fishball noodle stall, yong tau foo stall and 2 Muslim stalls. The rest can not make it the standard of local cuisine. They are able to hang on today due to there is only 1 coffee shop to go.

Tried the carrot cake about 2 months ago. The fried carrot cake is by far the worst tasting fried carrot cake i've ever tasted. Couldn't bring myself to even finish it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No complaints, been staying here for nearly 20 years and many of the food stalls couldn't survive, glad that the situation is stabilised somewhat since the nearby logistics hub is built.
The Indian muslim, malay muslim, mee (noodles) n Zichar stalls have been around for many years. Won Jia Yong tau foo is good. Recently the new entrant - Huong Viet Food stall - operated by real Viets is nice, although prices may be higher ~$5 compared to the other stalls, worth a try...
