(Scan QR for menu) Went on a Thursday morning. It was not overly crowded and service was good. Staff were attentive and came to check on us a few times. Food and drinks did not take too long to arrive. Egg sando - preferred the one at Hello Arigato nearby. Beef sando - I liked the one here more. Fried mochi was delicious.

A few things: food quality is good, nice deco, strategic place, Things to consider: there is Aircon but the place has windows open, good air circulation but with the recent "feel like" temperature of 40deg, that is not good, I was perspiring all the way. Food is good but for the portion given, I think they can give more ingredients or lower prices. water given is less than half a cup (esp on hot weather) I ordered ice chocolate, paid extra for a nice ice cube (really) but still half a cup. I went on a Saturday morning 9:05am and got the last table which was a counter seat. Subsequent customers had to wait at least an hour. Overall, I think it's a good experience but should I go back next time, I'll be sure to bring a portable fan.

Lovely cafe in the Joo Chiat Neighbourhood with fusion Japanese-western food. They even serve coffee form their neighbours Kohi Roastery! Great space. Food is excellent. Service is good. Definitely worth a visit. Do take note that there is a queue!

Not worth the wait nor the hype. Waited pretty long for a table during Saturday lunch, and portions were small compared to other cafes at about similar price. Nothing much to shout about for the food either. The Florentine and Gnocchi were just average. Our Wagyu sandwich had a lot of fat in the beef which we had to pick out. There’s better options around Joo Chiat. An unexpected letdown

Initially wasn't sure what to expect due to varying reviews for brunch, but happy to say Natsu has pretty solid offerings for dinner. Wagyu Tartare had a pleasantly smoked flavour throughout and paired well with the chips. Were told they switched out the Wagyu Rib Cap for the Sirloin, and while the fries could be a little more crisp the Chimichurri sauce atop was a nice touch of zest. The Kumquat hot sauce was an interesting addition with Duck as well, though we thought it could've been cooked a little more for added texture, just personal preferences imo. My partner and I both agreed that the greens for both mains were put together pretty well - she raved about the Mochi Fried Doughnuts, while I thought the Salted ice cream was the star of the dish. Staff were attentive and very accomodating throughout, while they sure could do with more floor staff or a dedicated Front of House, we were all kept happy through the dinner. All in all the flavours were pretty on point, though pricing was a little on the higher side.

Nice ambience for easterners cafe chill. However coffee latte skinny ice seems too odd with only half glass served and has very strong coffee instead of tasting like latte. The fried mochi is recommendable. Overall the service was mediocre and staff seems untrained.

Newly opened Japanese concept cafe along Joo Chiat, the renovation is very stylish and classy, the widely opened wooden window panes and natural lighting, make it a good place to relax. However as the windows are facing the road, the traffic noise were really loud. The menu offer some foods with Japanese dishes, such as chawanmushi for breakfast platter instead of scrambled egg, and egg mayo sandwich. However, the portion is not great for the price, the taste is only decent. Services need improvement, not easy to get their attention and most of the time you can’t find them anywhere. No one was taking care of the door, customers just come in with no clue where to sit. I stood there for few minutes before a waiter showed up.

Apart from the bad reviews I’ve read, I had a really good time. Popped by with friends for dinner; even though they didn’t take reservations, we didn’t wait long to be seated. My friends and I ordered a few things to share (included a few pictures to this review) and the real stars for me was definitely the duck and tartare!!!!! Friendly service staff, ambience was nice and considering Café Natsu just opened, I’m really happy with experience there! Overall, would return and can’t wait to see more from them.
