Read quite a few reviews about the poor service and mediocre food but decided to try it out in person. The service was fine albeit very slow, seating in the deceptively spacious outlet is oddly cordoned off until patrons specifically request a seat. Behind the heavy red curtains lo and behold a large hallway with seats for many! This combined with a strange policy of allowing single patrons to sit at tables for 4 and at booths while working on their laptops for prolonged periods makes for a very counterintuitive business decision seeing as multiple groups peered in from the glass doors and turned away finding all the tables 'occupied'. The food was challenging, that is to say, the beef cheek supposedly stewed, was tough with the cartilage holding on for dear life and of the generous portion, only about two small one inch bites were truly edible. The rest of the components were nondescript. The hojicha milk however was an excellent cup of roasty goodness, lovely rich flavour and came quickly. The ricotta and apricot toast was lovely too, except it came out 30 mins later together with the main dish. The combination of the light creaminess and slightly sweet apricot on fragrant sourdough made it a good tummy filler since most of the beef went uneaten. Maybe drop by for a snack and something hot to drink if nearby, otherwise there are plenty of other options!

Definitely the worst cafe experience and not for the people. Entered on weekday for bday celebration. First thing that the cafe owner mentioned is the rule of spending $20 above in order to stay longer than 2hrs (I have no problem with that). This short hair chinese wear spec lady led my friend and I to the dining table behind the curtain. However, another Cafe staff told us there were no 2 seater tables avail for us inside and have to move out eventually to this counter table if there were other customers. Please note that it was a weekday and there were only 3 customers in the cafe and yet most of the seats were out as reserved, leaving us only the counter table. What's worse the cafe staff were doing accounting and logistics matters right beside me with all the files and paper on the counter table. Weekend menu was not available, Cajun fried chicken Sammy was also not avail. We were only left with 7 choices. The beef burger ($22++) came dry (I would rather eat McDonald cheese burger). The garlic prawn ($26++) tasted salty and pasta were soggy. Given the staff attitude and food were just meh. It definitely don't worth visiting for the price seriously.

For students looking to study, the cafe requires you to spend a minimum $20 per pax to stay. There are plugs available and is spacious! However, just note their menu does not have cheese sticks or waffles anymore

I liked their matcha latte with no coffee and i asked to use soymilk! It was good. No kidding. And i love their chicken burger. The size was HUGE. I didnt even eat dinner after. ?? It comes with fries and its crispy and thick cut. Ugh. What's not to love?!

Good ambience and great service albeit a little slow due to low manpower. But a quiet and nice spot for brunch especially not too crowded, some of the customers can get a little rowdy (bad luck for us). Coffee is pretty decent. Quite a comprehensive menu and you can custom order! Had the Cajun chicken which was good and it came with curly fries!! The shakalakashuka isn't that good though, a little too watery/soupy. However, the main takeaway was: why is there a bloody need to have your digital menu at such high resolution? Probably shorter than 3 A4 pages of items including the super big front page and it's 44mb PDF. 3.5, and gave you a round up.

What a nice looking cafe that’s busked with naturally light and it’s spacious and empty. However it was not very welcoming even in a weekday. We entered the quiet cafe with seats taken up by many who are working. At that point we weren’t sure if it’s a co-working space or a cafe. After we placed our orders, we found out there were no seats available cos they were all marked as reserved. But we found a counter table overlooking another guest on the sofa. The coffee was ?? but look, there’s Chye Seng Huat around the corner. So there’s no comparison. It felt like a very serious place for a cafe. No vibes no soul.

Came on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't too crowded. Very spacious space with a calming effect. Ordered a Classic Breakfast (S$22), Make Your Own (my combination was S$16), an iced mocha (S$8) and a hot white with oat milk (S$6+1). Very generous portion for the food, but the drinks came in fun size (hahaha). And sadly, scrambled eggs was not available today. ? The staff are super friendly and humorous. Will visit again if I'm near the vicinity. Thank you for having us today! ?

Came here on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't very crowded even though there was a steady stream of people. Price point was on the mid-high range. But acceptable for quality of food and presentation. β˜•οΈCoffee was really pretty decent despite the small volume for the iced. I rate: 4/5 ? ?Weekend Brekkie: Fry Up ($25) is really generous with portion and tater tots were nice and crispy. Sausage was huge and quite worth overall compared to other cafe breakfast. I rate 4/5 ?
