Visited CK Jeans at West Gate today " 4th July 2022, ~ 630pm "and I am utterly disappointed with the service of the staff. When we entered the store, we were literally the only ones there and the staff were super unfriendly and unwelcoming. But THATS ok! We can browse through ourselves :-) We were first browsing through the shirts section and came across a few designs that we liked. There was this female sales assistant standing right in front of us, looking UNBOTHERED and ANNOYED that we were there, as if we were PESTS interrupting her peace. She did not even bother assisting us, knowing that we were looking for sizes and obviously needed help! After looking through the shirts and picking the designs that we liked, we then went to the shorts, bags and hoodie section. Then again, nobody bothered assisting us even though we seek for their assistance and mind you, we were being polite and courteous the entire time so we definitely do not understand what is wrong with their attitude? We get that people may have their bad days, but is it not basic courtesy to reply when we customers say ask for help and even say a THANK YOU even with their unbothered attitude? If they were that unhappy to work and serve the customers, we personally feel that the management should look into their sales assistants' service and have some basic service standard when interacting with customers? It is a retail line after all! Although the items were on sales, we WANTED to get three shirts, one pants and a bag! Despite it being on sales, is it not a SALES to them afterall? Who are they to decide who to serve and who to judge? YES, we may look like kids but hello? We're not there to waste their time and we really wanted to get the items? We tolerated their nasty attitude up till payment, and the person in charge of the cashier, a Malaysia man, was really rude and impatient to us for no apparent reason. The weirdest part was, he was totally friendly, polite and kind to an older lady in front of us, so we really do not get the prejudice he had against us? Was it necessary? What's with their attitude? Are "kids" not welcome to buy CK items? FYI! We're >21 so ???... When asking for new items during payment time, he made alot of remarks which looked like we did not want to serve us like " oh, u sure u want ? west gate don't have ! i help you ask LOR . if you really want " So obviously, we were really upset at that point so we left! Why should we tolerate this when all we wanted was to buy gifts ????? Anyways! Even during CNY, CK was blooming with customers yet the service we received was top notch. So, management please do something about your current WESTGATE staff! We will be going to another outlet to get our presents though, coz we really like CK items :-) The purpose of this is really not to be a Karen or aak for any sort of demands but we expect an apology for the judgemental and bias-ness against us. We hope to get a reply from the management team regarding this issue. Thank you so much.
