Dreadful experience here. Apart from the first assesment, i was not treated by the certified physiotherapists (Melina or her mom), but instead by random foreign "assistants" who had little to no background in physiotherapy but paying the full price of professional service. Melina is constantly flustered and also unstructured with her training program, jumping from one excercise to another before the excercise can be completed. Her mom (while certified) is ill informed about physiotherapy and attempts to "fluff" her way through questions about my condition. Apart from my first visit where professional attention was given and session was unhurried, every subsequent session only got worse. Can get much better physio sessions at SGH (Camden).

Was recommended to Melina by my doctor for my slipped disc condition. During these few years, Melina and her staff, Elizabeth had treated me for other conditions attentively and professionally. More importantly, Melina showed that she genuinely cares and is concerned for my well being. You can tell that she really does her best and look at ways to help me to manage my condition. She is definitely passionateΒ  about her profession and highly devoted to her patients. Kudos to Melina for her attentive care and professionalism!

Mixed and inconsistent. Each session lasts abt 1-1.5h and she teaches you not only exercises but also the right positions for walking/sitting/standing etc. which is great. Sometimes more care attention explanation, but sometimes you're left wondering 'what's the plan'? Going to her directly as a patient seems better than going to her as a referral from Drs. She has a habit of cutting you off before you finish speaking and jumping to her own conclusions when she doesn't know the full backstory; she doesn't ask questions to fully understand patient history, patient expectations or needs. So it's not only frustrating, it also means patient expectations aren't met. When going in with multiple injuries, a memo and reports from the Dr, she misses out on crucial info and fixates on one bit of the report and rushed to start work immediately (on a joint that isn't the focus of the treatment at all!). When it looked like her entire focus was on the wrong joint, I had to stop her and tell her to read the memo--the focus is another joint. She didn't even see the memo! Can you imagine how frustrating it is as the patient? I have to agree with a previous review that she comes across as flustered; also distracted and rushed. The fact that she keeps repeating medically inaccurate information (and then tells you to Google it because she's so sure) hurts her credibility especially when I already know exactly what this particular injury means because I've a medical background myself, I've spoken to a few Drs (plural), and also read up on my own injuries. Her definition is wrong; and by insisting her definition is right, it makes me doubt her competence.
