Cash Studio Family Karaoke - 72 Prinsep St

I paid S$42 for a room for 4 people, including one drink for the each of us. We sang for 3 hours. I went on a Wednesday afternoon and it was not crowded. I parked my car at Sunshine Plaza. I also saw URA parallel with taking lots along the street diagonally opposite Cash Box. The sound system is good. The decoration is very very nice. I particularly like the ‘stage’ when I could pretend to be a singer. There were a lot of songs, even the English ones. The songs were new. The staffs were friendly. Here are my gripes -: 1. The system did not allow me to adjust the mic volume, and up and down the key. This is a MAJOR flaw for Karaoke singing. 2. When I asked for a change of room, the staff brought me to an available room but it had the same problem. She did teach me how to control the mic volume, and up and down the key by manually pressing on the machine. It somehow did not feel the same as being able to adjust it directly from the computer system. 3. The staff told me that a few rooms have the same problem. They added that they would give me a room without these problems the next time. Due to the price and quality of the sound system, I will go back to Cash Box again. I will try another branch next time. I prefer to be able to control the volume of the mic, and the up and down key on the computer screen.

we went yesterday. the atmosphere is good, but kinda pricey. paid $170++ for 6pax, 2 hours, free two jug soft drink. ($22.90 + 10% service charge + %7 gst + $2 kod charge) x6

Went to this outlet ytd for e v 1st time. I have much fun for just 2hrs. Staff is friendly and they will come over to remind u when your 2hrs sessions is about to be up. Will come back again

Had a bottle from way before covid. Glad that it was still available. Pricing a bit steep but understandable. In terms of sound and songs available, all are good.

Place was stuffy and very small at the service counter. Understand that they might be short-handed as there was only 1 staff at the counter handling payments and bookings, but, the service staff still managed to put on a smile and assist everyone. Booked a room at 6pm and there were many other groups waiting for their 6pm slots too and we only managed to get in 5 mins after 6pm (might not be a big deal to some but about 1 song can be sung), and we took the 2 hour package where the staff told us time was up like 2 mins before 8pm and stood outside waiting for us to clean the room which caused us to rush and stopped singing. Not a good experience.

I'll give 2.5/5 stars if possible The good - sound system and song selection The bad - the sofas are dirty and poorly maintained, CS is non-existent, overpriced. Close to $30 on a weekend for only 2 hours and we weren't informed prior to entering our room

The place has nicely decorated rooms, with mood lights, a tv for all the seats to see the lyrics without needing to tilt your head at all, and even a mini stage with a standing microphone. it is quite costly per hour as compared to some other karaoke places, and the food are also quite costly, but if you like the interior facilities, it is still pretty worth.

Staff was friendly, and the booking included 2 canned drinks. The room had a mini stage with a mic and also 2 portable mics. It's super busy so we had to leave once our time is up which is fair.
