Must try the claypot chicken rice here, operated by middle-aged HK couple. The claypot rice is fragrant and taste is good. Their braised pork liver is also a must try.

Must try the KL Hokkien Mee here. Its not on the menu, but u can order it. Its called "Da Mian" as in Big Noodle. Still the best KL Hokkien Mee i could find in Singapore! The other Zi Char dishes are good too. I tried the chilli crab and fishhead curry - both are delicious. Have taken few tourists here and they loved it!

Should try claypot rice. The taste is quite nice. The rice really cooked using claypot not like some shop that just heat up claypot and placed rice in. Lemon honey also good should try them :)

The Ah Hua Noodle House is the noodle that i will patronize. The ζ°΄ι₯Ί is rated as one of the Top 10 Fine Culinary Skill in Singapore. You will have to taste it to love it.

Ate at the zi char stall inside this coffee shop..I really like their fish steamboat that comes with Tang Or vegetables or with Spinach..in this rich broth there are lots of yam pieces, blue torch ginger slices and a sour plum that intensifies the broth and made it one of a regular dinner meal for my family to visit. You can also order a French bean dish that comes with crispy finely chop hae bee n chillies. Another of our favourite is also the dark Malaysian Hokkien Noodles that the chef cook very well. Most of their dishes are hits. On weekends they are pretty crowded.

One of the coffee shop I frequent every month for breakfast. Food are relatively cheaper and with nice food. There’s a famous wanton mee stall. An uncle who sells otar and two aunties who sell traditional fried mee hoon, which is my favourite! The aunties have gone away due to knee problem and business dropped drastically. Today they are back in action, but I pity them. People don’t support their successors, it’s hard to sustain hawker culture. Drinks are a bit ex, cos hot tea cost $1.20. But guess it’s a decent price to pay for a lot of elderly who sit there and chit chat.
